The leaders or the lead?when did it become a shame for a son to consult his father in an important decision or a patient consultation with his doctor? Tinubu had a consultation with Obasanjo in 2014 prior bo support Buhari to ousted Jonathan, was that a shame on Tinubu? Who can deny that Obasanjo is not an issue in Nigeria political decision in Nigeria?

But I remember how Osinbajo handled Nigeria in 2018 as full substantive acting President while Buhari was undergoing repairs in London. Went to FAAN, sacked their directors, went to market, set up the food prices committee, set Nnamdi Kanu free from jail without rearresting him, confirmed justice Onnoghen, arrested Lawal Daura, injected Forex into the economy, bringing the dollar down fast... I don't think he's just all grammar.

@wolfs Winkel… No doubt he is intelligent but he does use Teleprompters too. ( I believe to joggle his memory on key points- and then he fills in the sentences) I attended a function in Nigeria a few years ago, where delivered a speech and he had an autocue set up for him at a corner that isn’t captured by the camera. Cos when I watched the event later on KZfaq it appeared like he was giving an impromptu speech whereas he wasn’t! ….. Also truly like @John Matthew highlighted, speaking grammar means nothing considering the state of the Nigerian economy!!!!

To me you African leaders are always diverting your problems by always talking about Africa as a whole without anyone among you clean his own house first before talking about others. Our mistakes are we are still as we were put together like rats by the colonial. We are not a nation untill we divide nothing will come out nicely. We are holding a country together that we should not. we are not a nation. A nation is people of thesame language,culture,religion,ethnic, that's what determined a nation without those it will never work. Europeans has their own nation with people of thesame language,culture,religion,ethnic, living together in peace, we Africans were slot together like rats for the benefit of the colonial. We have to divide and return to use our own language that's can only happens if each one becomes a citizen of his own country not mixed up and using somebody's else language, A nation without his or her language is not a nation to be proud of.

Grammar is not it. After all grammar is a foreign language. At this juncture that we are in in the history of our existence, we want a government whereby our own yoruba indigenous language will serve as a medium of official communication. Yoruba is rich in grammars too. We would be proud to institutionalize it and have a leader well versed in it. Nobody is interested in lies enmeshed in foreign language to destroy the future, destiny of our people again. Oduduwa Republic is the way to go for us in yorubaland. We have millions of grammarians in yorubaland but it is our our country we want.

You saw how he brought RIVERS state in good condition when he was the governor of RIVERS state and you saw all the good things he is doing as minister for Transportation . He doesn't believe in gods father, he believes in equality, justice, fairness, unity and keeping too his good promises by the reason why he is going to be elected as president of Nigeria. So let us give him chance by voting him in 2023 election as the president elect of Nigeria and he will remove Nigeria's out of bad influence, poverty, bad economy, bad roads, low currency and he will restore peace, dignity and freedom of speech in Nigeria etc. Off which, GOD ALMIGHTY has already written it and know body can stop him. Osibanjo could make an excellent Chief of justice or Attorney general of federation or call it minister of Justice. Leadership is practical. Bring Peter and Osibanjo, let them debate on ways to move Nigeria out of poverty, Peter will floor him front and back cos he has managed wealth both in private sector , public sector and otherwise. Even Prif Muoghalu Kingsley would floor Prof Osibanjo in terms of management of Nigeria economy. The leader we need now is someone who the working solutions and trade policies that would lift Nigeria out of dastardly and bastardized state of our current economic conundrum under the present administration. Peter Obi is the way forward .Obj was there for 8 years. Yet, Osibanjo wants to go again. Haba! The Eastern part of Nigeria have abundant Human Resources that would propel Nigeria to greater heights if given the opportunity.

@@dj_funkytee it’s only Justice and Equity that would usher sustainable development and growth of Nigeria economy. I like Osibanjo as a person but not as our prospective President. Reasons are as follows: It would be foolhardy and inconceivable for another candidate from south west to be president of Nigeria without consideration to other zones in the south Nigeria. OBJ was there for 8 solid uninterrupted years. Yet , they want more in detriment to other zones. That’s absolute injustice. South Eastern part of Nigeria have numerous qualified individuals in these leading political parties. They should select one of them . Also, The agitation for sovereign state of Biafra would allegedly take a new dimension if the leading political parties jettison the idea to consider a candidate from south eastern Nigeria. It would fuel it more and more cos more people would see the reason why MNK is right about Nigeria. More agitations means no meaningful development as a country. Look at Boko haram and the negative effects of their activities in the North. Farmers can’t farm anymore. Kidnapping everywhere. Kaduna airport, Military Barack’s aren’t spared. 2014-1914=100years, we might re-negotiate our coexistence as a country if that be the case.

So, President Goodluck Jonathan is out of the equation! You are saying he is not a recoqnized crop (indigine) of South Eastern geopolitical region. For the benefit of understanding the proper and rightful re-alignment of the regional politics, the basic regions comprising of Nigeria State are the North, the West, and the East. Tafawa Balewa / Nnamdi Azikwe administration created Mid-Western region for reasons that would not be discussed at this conversation. Transition of the good things from the older generation to the younger generation has not been smooth.
