In this video, I'm sharing my trip report from my last Allegiant flight out of Las Vegas. I had a great time flying with Allegiant and the flight was very affordable. I'd definitely recommend Allegiant as a low cost airline option for visiting Las Vegas!

Another great video. Thanks for sharing. I know these are a lot of work to put together. Always fun to come along. You have to do a trip report on Boise Jon! With everyone it seems moving there be nice to have a veteran view of the top spots, including an airport tour.

I've thought about doing some day trip reports, Bruneau Sand Dunes, Sun Valley, etc. but maybe a tour of downtown. I get asked about places to eat most of the time...

What do you think about trying Alaska’s new mainline flight from BOI-PHX. I know it’s not a new route or necessarily anything special, but it’s unique for Boise and AS.

hi there , im flying Allegaint on their A319 to Memphis Tn from Lax, now fare as you know is great! im thinking on getting a reserved seat like 3B to be exact, cuz dont do middle seat I can do Aisle, so if you dont choose a seat where would they pick one for you way towards the back/ And it looks like you ckd luaggae, did you do it at the airport or advance? Like I said I will choose a seat and or something to put in the overhead bin. Why I ask, it looks like you have flown on Allegaint before and I wanted your take on the various ways , which would be best. OPTIONS< IDEAS .with the base fare +seat or Flex fare + seat, what would you do? Id appreciate anything you could suggest! .Thank you again. P.S. Ive flown with those Airlines you are going to do comparisons. I will never Fly Alaska Air again ! Id go with Spirit, Frontier not a fan.. So with an up grage , you cant beat Spirit. That was Lax to Chicago RT about $180 -190 1 ckd bag and my purse / laptop, say 6yrs ago . LMK Thank You

In general, I always pay for anything with a low cost carrier like Allegiant before getting to the airport to save money. It is always more expensive at the airport. I also don't do any of the bundles as they add something that I don't need or won't use (varies by carrier). Checked bags are usually cheaper than a carry on bag, but it takes longer at the airport, since you have to check the bag and get it at baggage claim. This is more of a preference IMO. And I always pick my seat, I'm looking for a window in front of the wing for the best views. And if I fly spirit, I try to upgrade to the Big Front Seat!

The luggage allowance is not that great. Even the European budget airlines have 44 lbs minimum. Though many have 53lbs checked baggage. Though with any low cost carriers they can be really good value if you can live with their ticket conditions. Over step and the fees are horrendous. Not bad flight. Did you use something like flight radar to scope out the flight for benefits of which side to sit on? I do for the take off and landings.

Just experience...Vegas is a regular destination for me. The prevailing arrival/departure runways are to the west, so right side when coming/leaving Vegas.

How was the seat size?

Comparable width to others, 17" wide and pitch is snug at 30". Slimline seats make for decent knee room but I'm only 5'9'...

I double checked the registration, and it indicates an A319...unusual with 2 overwing exits. From FlightAware: AIRBUS A319-111 Fixed wing multi engine (147 seats / 2 engines)

It started life with EasyJet, I'm guessing they order them with 2 doors to accommodate the high density seating configuration in Europe (different rules?) which makes them ideal when transferred to Allegiant with the same high density configuration.

The aircraft is a 319, but the number on the aircraft is 320

I've been wondering...I've seen those in a couple of spots in Vegas, but never seen anyone buy one...I did look to see if they had a GF cake I could eat, but alas, they didn't...
