Chase, I had never heard this song before I heard you sing it. For comparison, I listened to a couple of "live" versions by Coldplay. I prefer the sound of your voice to the voice of the singer in the Coldplay group. I am not familiar enough with this song to make definitive comments about your performance but from initial impressions you seem to sing this song well. In my opinion, though, this song is boring, very boring. In my opinion Coldplay's version was boring as well. In my opoinion, this song is not well written consequently the song would be boring no matter who sang it. When the musical aspect of a composition is as dull as this one, in my opinion, at least there could be some reasonably clever lyrics to compensate but in this case, in my opinion, the lyrics are as poorly constructed as the music, maybe moreso. Chase, you have a great naturally talented voice, in my opinion. You can choose better than a weakly written song like this one (in my opinion). There are so many beautiful songs that would fit your voice so very much better than this one, in my opinion. I will always tell you my opinions and what I believe to be true. As I have told you before, your talent interests me and I have written this comment as I have written the other comments, for that reason. I sincerely hope you appreciate my honesty and efforts.
