Yes he was only fooling himself. I don't think he was a cheater, he was just a foolish man. Which ex calls you none stop at night in the excuse of a business partner just to have a drink. He should have established boundaries. He himself felt uncomfortable always being around the ex. But he never made things clear.

There were not much progress in demonstrating how ZouKai understood what love is, and the criteria of making up a good family. Most audiences didn't approve this couple's reunion easily. The play rushed to the end showing ZouKai had opened up his heart to trust and love his wife. It might be better to demonstrate more convincing details.

@@anitasham855 from the parts I've seen, his wife is a little silly, but she seems to love him from the beginning. Once that ex came back, he's been rushing off to see and/or take care of her. Even if the husband told her this, she's still out of line saying it. People spend their time on what's important. He was spending his time with the other woman. Even if there was no physical cheating, there was definitely emotional cheating.

@@neodeshahendley2578 I agree with the emotional cheating. From the begining he was the one who asked her to get married, its his responsibility as a husband and now a father. Even if he was cold in the begining, he still regarded her as his wife and at times was there for her with her family and so on. He made time for her before. I think he wanted to have a stable married life. The ex came back and I don't know what spell she put on him but he couldn't ignore her and always gave into her request. He didn't have the intention of cheating on his wife but emotionally his heart wasn't fully with her or else he wouldn't have felt guilty anytime he was with the ex.
