I searched for opinions on this iems before buying them, watched a couple and 5/6 were good impressions so I decided to buy them now that they have benn shipped I found your review, so sad I didn't find it earlier, I guess I'll just have to check them and hope nothing of this really disturb me a lot, thanks for you video.

Appreciate your critical reviews although I'm a bit perplexed about this one. Bought this as a "fun" listen and haven't noticed the defects you've described. Bought it at the same time as the Wu Heyday, just to see what collabs from these two very different reviewers sounded like. Have enjoyed both of them.

Can they not be cleaned up with an eq adjustment to be able to enjoy the frequency separation/timing of the planar to get a really effective sound stage. Ive been really debating these for an experimental thing for time killing

EQ is a band-aid on a flaw, it doesn't fix the issues. The Rinko responded decently to EQ but still sounded meh in my opinion. EQ doesn't repair a sound signature it just covers up or enhances the issues.

@@TheHonestAudiophile fair enough.. What is the best planar hybrid iem under $200 with a 2 pin. I'm going to double them for wireless also on the Little White neck band. It has high and low gain so I'm not worried about power. Thanks for any suggestions. Great Channel btw. So many others just try to sell and you give it like it is. That is very helpful as to not waste money or time.

Hello friends, can someone tell me about the quality of the product, some say that the logo is erased simply by rubbing it with your fingers, that makes me doubt everything else

I honestly liked this one. It’s stupidly specific, but what I liked it for I liked it a lot. I’ve never had a “basshead” iem before so that mat have something to do with it. I’m also very fascinated by the tech pairing. I’d like to imagine how it would sound if truly harnessed. The worst part about this imo is the cable. It keeps tangling on me, and anything I have to fight with is an immediate no. Also, yes, that artwork is really unnecessary and distasteful. It didn’t need to be there at all. Idk why these companies feel they need the whole waifu thing to sell their products.

I am glad you like the Rinko. There are a few music pairings that it sounds good with and I am glad you have found them. If the waifu stuff was left out, the Rinko would be half the price and a better value.

6kHz sibilance dip may be a bit overly done, causing acoustics to sound unnatural ▶︎Bass presence may be north of timbral accuracy lover ▶︎Upper-mid gain levels are few decibels north of bright, upper mid sensitive group may find Rinko too energetic ▶︎Imaging Focus has a noticeable lacking segment due to 6khz’s huge dip. The soundstage is narrow, and the height and depth are less than expected, which might not suit those who prefer a grand-sounding setup.

Hey Dave, I have a question unrelated to the review but I hope you can point me in the right direction. I have the ThieAudio Elixir and really like it but I'm thinking about upgrading at some point. I've been looking at the Mangird Tea 2 because it also seems to have a warm leaning relaxed sound signature but I see you have it ranked slightly lower so I was wondering if you could give me more of an idea how they compare in sound and if it's a worthwhile consideration coming from the Elixir.

Really splitting hairs between the two. The Tea has a slightly warmer presentation and a little more note weight and the Elixir has just a touch more sparkle and energy, the Tea is a tad better resolving. They are pretty similar otherwise.

Everyone kept praising this but the way the sound was described reminded me so much of an original m50x but with more bass. So i never understood what the hype was about and avoided it

The eartips are really good, I liked it with edm and some 80s music gets a great bass bump. When You have more than 5 instruments in a track it gets bad

I still think about getting them. I sold my kima yes more Details over hola but so boring also had to buy other tips that they fit. I was disapppinted. Hard to decide especially after reading the good reviews on hifigo. 🤔

Distasteful adult art...it shows SLIGHT skin from her upper back, calm down. That being said, I ordered the Rinkos a few days ago. While they're not accurate to original records, I can say that I've noticed they play better with certain genres. EDM and classic rock specifically. Wasn't a fan of Zeo's tips (mainly cause I don't do foam) so I added some spinfits. I'm actually really enjoying the Rinkos, they've taken over my Katos as my main set for now. Been using the Rinkos with a 4.4 balanced cable into a hiby r6 iii.

Thank you for this review. I knew this IEM was going to be an abomination when Zeos wouldn't even talk about the graphs and measurements that he loves so much. He avoided talking about the sound quality as much as possible in his introduction video of this IEM. Almost like he was ashamed of what he tuned and what SeeAudio was forced to manufacture. Then he came out with his 2nd video to hype up the sales, fearing it might not sell well and hurt his brand/collab potential in the future. Then the gross amount of waifu plastered everywhere. I'll leave that alone since there are a lot of weirdo out there who actually love that pervy stuff.

I wouldn't normally leave a negative comment on a video but this review seems more than a bit unfair. The beginning shows you went into this with a lot of bias based on a preoccupation with the box/art which, fine, that's not everyone's thing, but no one is forcing you to keep or even look at the box longer than it takes to get the IEM out. If you don't like it just throw it away. It's not a big deal and frankly the box/art is not the distasteful affront to mankind you paint it as and certainly *could* and *has* been shown on KZfaq. You and the other prudes in the comments could stand to loosen up. As for the IEMs themselves, the sound signature was made to be fun with a lot of bass and to my ears and many others it is exactly as ordered, fun. Its not trying to be neutral or mixing mastering IEMs. It also probably shouldn't be the only IEMs a person buys, but as an aggressive and fun secondary or tertiary IEM in a collection, they do their job well. Accurate high fidelity/mildly colored reproduction is nice but not all the time. The tips are also much nicer than the "meh" they got here and have found happy homes on the rest of my IEM collection. I've enjoyed your reviews in the past when buying equipment, but based on this video and your responses to vitriol in the comments, this seems to be more of a hit piece on the product/Zeos over a moral panic about anime art styles. Unsubscribed please try to do better

You've completely misunderstood the review. I wasn't bias at all about the box and content art. I just stated my feelings about them and how they are offensive to me as a Christian. I'm glad you enjoy the Rinko, as you stated they are a fun IEM and that is how I judged them. I put them up against neutral tuned IEM like I do every IEM I review because that is my process and my preference. As for the tips they don't work for me at all, glad you like them. I have nothing against Z, his channel is the first I watched and trusted for many years before getting into reviewing myself. Zeos is a good guy and has made huge impacts in the audio community and I respect him. I don't always agree with him but I have the utmost respect for him and his accomplishments. As for unsubscribing that's your choice, thanks for stating your reasons. Thanks for the comment. Edit: I just read through the comments and don't see the vitriol that you claim I reacted to. Can you please specify what you're referring to?

Tremendous breakdown with honesty always leading the way! Beyond the waifus and Zeos fandom, for me Rinko was just horrendous. Right down there with Dioko. He said he ignored frequency graphs during manufacturing... & it was woefully apparent (thank God for Amazon returns). Perfectly good waste of planar & dd materials...

So I’ve just gotta ask you, and please be honest. Why did you review these at all? You were obviously offended by the cover art and you obviously hated the IEMs. I understand why it is important to have some critical reviews on your channel. Criticism lends to credibility I guess. But seriously, you spent 16 minutes, SIXTEEN, destroying these IEMs. You don’t like them? Fine. That’s your opinion. You seemed to have missed a lot of the good that many other reviewers and consumers found in them. Just a suggestion for the next time you dislike a product, but still feel compelled to review it- keep is short and sweet.
