So here's the thing - Dimple and Rishi are Mismatched at their core because their priorities and lives are polar opposite of each other. And when they try to be someone else, they fail. Dimple always had her career as her priority and between love and career she would always choose her career because she comes from a middle class background where money is important. Rishi on the other hand was never serious about his career because he is rich and can prioritise love without thinking about building a career. The Rishi Dimple clash is also because they want the other person to be like themselves. The ending of season 2 is heartbreaking because Rishi gets what Dimple wanted and Dimple is just left with love, no career - just what Rishi wanted. That way Dimple and Harsh made much more sense because at least both were passionate about their career and supported their partner's passion.

Many people might say that Harsh and Dimple made more sense but I personally feel Harsh is way more sorted and has control over his emotions in a matured way. He genuinely cared for her and was ready to sacrifice a golden opportunity for her but Dimple on the other hand was confused messed up and lastly truly harbored feelings for Rishi only. So Harsh definitely deserves someone worthy of his love because that guy was so simple when he said 'turn your broken heart into art' so very few have that much courage to walk away gracefully. Next, coming to Dimple and Rishi. As much as I loved them in season 1 I really felt so annoyed at them in s2, they were all over the place, confused and literally started seeing random people almost using them as a rebound to score points especially Rishi plus he was so difficult to converse with because of his impulsive attitude to conclude everything. Even Dimple had that ig. Emotional intelligence is something that they lacked the most, probably that's what teenage years are about. But despite how much messed messed up they were not ones did I feel they should end up with someone else because their power dynamics felt equal and they were equally complicated. Their blame game can be overwhelming and extremely toxic sometimes but may be in growing years because of love they can fix that. So somewhere mismatched was about how two imperfect people just fit, despite every issue sometimes love seems worth it provided you are trying to better yourself not because of someone but because you want to. Also Taruk Raina as Anmol definitely had the best character development in terms of complexity. Literally the most well written character. Also man he is so talented. I loved a lot of topics that they touched but would have appreciated more depth but really the show was very engaging.
