I love that Chucky was excited for a real son, that means he was happy to have Glen (who's a softie) instead of Glenda (the psychopath) 😹 It's like he was scared of his own daughter.

This movie is so meta and has so many references to classic exploitation films. To name a couple references, they have cult movie director John Waters play the man who gets killed by the acid, another is that Sweetface is named Glen and Glenda (a nod to Ed Wood’s 1953 film Glen or Glenda).

Fun facts: "Glen or Glenda" is the title of an Ed Wood movie. -The paparazzi (photographer) was played by filmmaker John Waters. -"you're tearing me apart" comes from Tommy Wiseau's "the ROOM".

I used to hate this movie but I've grown to love it chucky definitely deserves a spot on Mt Rushmore

There was also a scene in the beginning of the film where he stabs a woman in the shower, and she drags the curtain down with her. THE SHINING (1980) Towards the end of the movie, Chucky knocks a big hole in a door with an ax, then sticks his head in and grins and says, "I can't think of a thing to say. F*ck it". This is obviously a nod to Jack in 'The Shining'. REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE (1955) Glen yells "You're tearing me apart!" at his fighting parents. SAW (2004) Tiffany disembowled Redman, like Amanda disemboweled a man in 'Saw'. Lots more. Peace out.

this movie has a lot of good in it, but it’s one of those movies where I wanna ask the filmmakers what was intentional because half of the good stuff feels accidental. lots of hilarious moments, the characters are fun, the story is interesting, but there’s some weird implications and some off choices, I understand why people would dislike it. the opening is great and I can’t wait for the paparazzi scene.

This was such a pleasant surprise. If only to have heard Billy Boyd (Pippin) voicing a character

This one came out when I was in High school and the first one came out the year before I was born. I literally grew up with Chucky. When other little girls walked around with a baby doll, I walked around with a Chucky doll. Now that I think about it, this is the only Chucky movie I actually saw in Theatres.

The chucky streaming series is pretty good

They took a more comedic approach to this 5th installment. Made it into a parody and upped the camp. The 6th movie goes back to being just horror with comedy rather than a full fledged horror/comedy like this one. I loved this version of Chucky though, I definitely think it spiced things up and I for sure had a great time laughing my butt off to it.

The next two last films are soo good after this one. You won't know what to think after seeing every side of Chucky imaginable almost, or maybe youll know better than ever hahahaha.

When Glen was being conceived in the beginning credits and "made in Japan" came on the screen, I already knew he was about to say it, so I said "shut the f*ck up" same time as him.😂😂😂

This is as bad as the franchise gets lmao. Curse is a BIG improvement and one of my top 2 favorite Chucky movies :D. Seed is probably the horror sequel in any franchise that I freaking hate and only seen once, and never seen again. That's how bad I hate it lmao. But I'd watch Halloween 5 & 6 numerous times. Seed just felt like a spoof of the Chucky movies to me.
