When I first heard of seed and chucky having a child I thought the child was go be like him like a mini chucky probably with some of chucky evil antics but regardless I didn't like seed the only that was scaring on seed for was chucky how he all stretched up like in bride he look like a demon possessed doll that I wouldn't understand how anyone would want

Seed of Chucky is an.... interesting movie to say the least. Glen is an interesting character, sort of a lovable goofball/misfit sort of character. Tiffany is good in practically every movie, but Chucky didn’t seem that scary to me. He seemed to be having a midlife crisis in those movie if anything.

Yeah I never saw Glen/Glenda as a transgender character. I always saw it as two souls in one body. I wouldn't have minded if the character was transgendered, but I don't think they were. I think the movie could've been great if it wasn't a comedy and if it was like your idea where the child acts differently around each parent. That actually sounds great.

@@cdaemondx8241 Clearly you’re not a fan of the character Chucky, if you were you’d enjoy what he does, it shows his whole life not just where he’s killing victims some family time. What horror slasher has showed you that before? Making him unique and the story line adds up so nicely. Glen and Glenda are coming back to the new show, that should say more than enough.

Glen/Glenda is a reference to Ed Wood's film so I assumed he was similarly torn between being male or female but I liked the idea of two personalities in one body.

Also In The novelization Of Child’s Play 2 we do get more backstory on Charles Lee Ray’s upbringing and how he becomes the psychopath that he is. He had an abusive mother, an absent father, and children who bullied him for the abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother until he finally strangled her to death, thus beginning his career as a Serial Killer.

Chucky has been shot, stabbed, set on fire, melted in plastic, had his head exploded, sliced by a fan, dismembered , and stomped yet none of those did any more damage to him than THIS movie.

This is the only way to "watch" this movie. As I still cringed with every scene shown, it was made bearable with your commentary. In fact, I own the Blu-ray box set of the series, and when I did a marathon last October, I deliberately skipped Seed. I can only imagine what my parents thought when I made them take me to the theater to see it haha! Anyway, I loved your commentary, and yes, one of the only "redeeming" parts of this movie is Jennifer Tilly having fun and poking fun at herself, as I love it when actors don't take themselves too seriously. I agree no one wants to see Chucky become human but I still think him wanting to transfer his soul into human body was a good motivation which is why I like the first three Child's Play movie so much

I remember seeing trailers for it and well I liked them, then it came out and I bought it. I never hated it but it's just kinda ok timewaster. I think Don should have went more dark toned with it, I liked the Glen/Glenda character conflict. There was a Interesting take on it alittle but it goes more comedy. I think the dream scene at the beginning of Glen, I think they could have kept that tone in the movie, I liked his look evil and all. But than In Curse it's totally forgotten. I'll never say it's a bad movie but just a ok timewaster. It's cool if people hate it and I'm the only who doesn't, I respect their opinions.

I agree, the movie is just straight up black comedy and is absolutely hilarious as it just runs with the absurdity, Glenda and Glen along with the doll design was great, having them share one body was an awesome idea.

Love your Channel and Passion, Dude. Glad you're finally getting some Sponsorship. That can only be good for the channel and yourself 👍I liked Seed of Chucky when I was pre teen to early teen. Your story is similar to how I became a Chucky addict . Now as a young adult I can't believe how Campy it was. Just how ridiculous they took the story of the son of Chucky. That sort of Storyline could have been so much more Horrific and fun. Like all in the Franchise there are moments I enjoy but very few for this 1. I like Glenda. I love Chucky's speech "What's so great about being human anyway?" You get sick" you get old"You can't get it up anymore "I'm not looking forward to that" I am Chucky! "The Killer Doll" And I Dig it" Goosebumps everytime. I liked how 1 of them finally successfully transferred their soul into a Human body but despite its bright spots it's not difficult to see why this is arguably the most disliked Chucky movie. Just saw the movie on Starz then found this current video when looking for old reviews. You hit the nail on the head with all the stuff you covered and made a so-so film more interesting. I'm a fan of the original film "Glen or Glenda" by Ed Wood. Now I want to watch that again. Thanks for your video.
