Quatrefoil Bezel Tutorial

Leslie shows you how to create a beaded bezel for a 14x14mm square kyanite bead, and then how to finish it into a quatrefoil shape. Knowledge of peyote stitch is useful. Materials also include 11/0 delica beads and 15/0 seed beads.

Veľmi sa mi takto obšitý štvorec páči, ale nemohla som takéto korálky zohnať, ale nakoniec sa mi podarilo nájsť štvorčeky z minerálov. Korálky som už dostala, tak som skúsila jeden štvorček obšiť. Vyzerá to nádherne, len po poslednom prevliekaní korálok 15/0 mi začali praskať. Budem si musieť zaobstarať tenšiu niť. Ďakujem za zdieľanie, majte pekný večer...

So wow, I love this tutorial. It seems a bit advanced for me, but with practice, I'm sure I'll get it. I'm wondering if this will work on a 12mm Swarovski square cushion stone? I know the bead count would change. Thank you, Leslie.

Thank you for show how to weaving bezel, quatrefoil very nice looking so good like flower pattern, I had some heart shape crystal 13x14mm I just wonder could it work for heart shape crystal I had ,oould you advise and any suggestion, I did try peyote weaving bezel is seem cover the heart all around leave very small space on surface of the heard, did not look good, just seem the bezel show more seed beads than crystal , please help and show how to make heart shape bezel in the future , by the way I also love all your bead weaving tutorials video post on you tube, like your heart pattern weaving too

Hearts are difficult because when you bezel them they look like triangles, not hearts! So I don't recommend.

You might have to experiment a bit, but I'm guessing nine on a side, so 9x4=36, then add 4 for the corners. You need to have an odd number of beads on each side for this pattern to work! Good luck!

I have done it using a coin-shaped round bead, so sort of flat. Make sure the number of up beads going around is divisible by 4. So if it's 16 up beads, then make every 4th bead a "corner bead" and proceed from there. Does that make sense? I may have to do a tutorial about that too :-)

In my videos I use a piece of white fabric for contrast and so my materials show up better. In real life I use one of those fuzzy bead mats that the beads don't roll around on! :-)
