Biogas is nice in that it is fast to get to temperature if used as cooking fuel. That you need to process manure before gardening and that this has added value over composting is a win. I would use something other than hands to stir the slurry... Hopefully will see a return to cob houses, but with deeper eaves to reduce maintenance and create more usable space...

Greetings from the Netherlands.👍 I love these kind of video's. In your country the conditions to do something like this are better for doing this then in the Netherlands. I think the production of gas will be far less when it is colder. And we have shitty winters overhere. I have build a woodstove that generates electricity. And that also heats a 500 liter boiler for hot water and a 3000 liter boiler to store heat for later purposes. I wanted to build also a woodgasifier. But after America has been corrupting the entire Ukraine and has been plotting and sceming to start a proxywar prices of wood also have been skyrocketed. And wood has becomes scarse. So i have to minimise the use of wood. This seems to me a good alternative. Overhere they also used a similiar system back in the time of WW2. And used it to power vehicles. They indeed were driving around with such a big bag you have on the top of the car. It was not as good as fuel but they could travel with the use of natural gas. Made a few adjustments to the carburator and that was it. But the gas had to be clean so they needed to filter it with bleech and water. But i find it very strange what they are doing in your country. It is much easier to set up a handfull solarpanels and start cooking electric. This is also much cleaner. Do not get me wrong but this type of gas can be very unhealthy. This kind of gas can destroy the brain. It is very harmfull. You have to use it at a place with a lot of ventilation. Also the way the bag with gas is placed gets me a bit anxious. I would use things like appendixes like a B-valve that will prevent the backlash of fire into the pipes or tubes. I see that they are often feeding the gasifier with cowdunk. From my knkwledge this only needs to be done at the start. But i could be wrong about that. People like those in this video are often people that know better what to do then we people in the West. We are not self-reliant anymore. I would definitely use a kg of suger from time to time. This would boost the fermetation tremendously i think. And i would also play some music from the Beegees. Sure that this will help.🙈 Why not use the gas for a generator ? And just lead a powercable into the home or kitchen ? Then you can cook keramic or with induction. This is much safer. And the surplus of the electricity can be used for much more. For light and even getting hot water for taking a shower. Or doing this in combination with a few solarpanels. In your country solarpanels are much better then in the Netherlands. Much more sun. And when it is dark then you could use the generator. This would be my idea when i was living overthere. I will try to build my own bio gasifier. More then enough space outside. Need to create something that is way bigger then the ones i saw in this video. Because it will not work as good as in your country. Although certain bacteria also must nog get to hot. Otherwise they die. You could easily try the use of a generator. Simply hold the end of a hose at the insert of the carburator. It should be able to run. Connect a simple valve at the end of the hose. Later when it is functioning properly you could make something better and more permanent. Greetings from the Netherlands and thanks for the idea.💪💪🙏🙏 In the end of your

Super cool! Nature could offer is so much renewable resources we could live a abondent life and be in balance with nature. I'm also working on a biogas plant for my camper. Here in Europe whe have lots of acorns and other nuts which contains lots of carbohydrates which can be turn into ethanol I also want to work on that.

I am watching this in Canada. I want to make a biogas plant in a greenhouse. We have winter that will halt gas production and will burst our tanks if they freeze. You are lucky to have warmth all year round. It is good for your digester. I have seen many biogas video's and I must say that this is my favoutire one yet. It is nice to see how different people have different approaches and it is nice to hear them all agree that it has been worth the investment too. Those plants are amazing too! Wow! Keep up the good work! This is the first video I have seen of yours but I have subscribed already. Great work

It's also able to build a Biogas-plant in Canada. You need a good thermal insulation, though. The chemical reaction is exothermic. So with a good enough insulation you propably doesen't even need to heat it. A tick layer of rock wool should already do the job. as soon as the heatlos though the insulation is smaller then the produced energy in heat. It will automatically heat up. You can also use thermoelement to meassure the inside temperature and control it. apparently there are even some biogas-plants in colder regoins, that use a small gas boiler (like cor caravans) to heat water and this water is pumped though pipes in a cycle though the Biogas-plant. So the water never comes in contact with another fluid. This way you will lose some small amount of gas but are still able to build a biogas-plant.

I love this concept. It makes so much sense! It is a natural process. I can see this in an off grid situation along with the use of the hydrogen cell electricity generator, powered by natural gas. I can see the sewer, waste management department, and power plants working together, using biogas instead of fossil fuels. The infrastructure for distribution is already in place as are the storage facilities. The possibilities are endless, in my mind.

I am building a similar one in the future. I was going to lay a pvc pipe in concrete from bottom vee to outlet tank at angle then remove the top half at bottom and install a screw to remove solids. 1, How do you get the inevitable solids build up from the bottom so you don't loose capacity? With your tank because its already made I would have a capped suction pipe to bottom so I could remove a few gallons a week.Do solids build up? 2. Do you clean the gas before it goes inside for use? If so how.

You can use pig waste single handedly or household biowaste alone to produce biogas. You must not have cow dung or mix anything with cow dung to produce biogas aka methane with impurities.
