I’m honestly surprised you guys don’t have a top of the line, with night vision, security system for your home. Especially since you are so active on social media. If someone walks in my driveway, or backyard, very bright motion lights go on and the camera alerts me via text if it senses body movement between certain hours. Costco has reasonable priced systems.

I hate to say it but that’s why you lock your doors. I say that with love. My neighborhood had this problem and the ones who weren’t locked had their back seats destroyed nothing stolen.

We have security cameras all over our house & caught 2 guys doing this exact same thing in our neighborhood. Didnt steal any cars but we knew to check cameras when one of our car doors was left open in the morning. I felt so violated & pissed off seeing the footage. People are such losers

Dont matter who raised them, we all know right from wrong. The fact they were in that rush to get out they know its wrong, punishment to the full extent of the law in my opinion

That’s so scary that you may have been awake when it happened. Some people are so evil but I’m so glad they found your car and you will get it back. We had our hire car broken into in Orlando a couple of years ago which they hid very well as we didn’t notice something had happened until we noticed that some of our electrical items had gone and there was a knife mark in one of our cases!! It’s awful what people can do to ruin it for everyone else

So the Tesla was brought into the garage and locked up but a brand new Escalade (that you knew is at the top of the list of stolen cars) was left unlocked with im guessing the key fob left inside??

I would recommend wrapping your keys in tinfoil or put them into an RFID blocking box in your house. What these criminals do is they have a little programmed box that allows them to boost/amplify the keyfobs RFID radio frequency. Thats how they got into your Cadillac without the keys. They could have taken the Tesla if they wanted to as well the same way. Your cars won't be taken if you take these measures. Unfortunately dishonest people bring us to this extreme.

I am not sure if your Escalade is a push button start, if it is like mine if i forget to pick up my key just 35 feet away from car it Won't Start. If you leave your key in the car...first line of defense is always take the keys into the house. Also Motion lights and security camera facing the driveway would be a plus too. I am sorry that this happened to your vehicle. I do agree with you kendal that this generation kids have nothing better to do than going around stealing vehicles. My suggestion i have is you and daniel should invest into a car alarm so if in the event someone tries to do it again the alarm will alert you.

Those people are seriously BIG freaking pieces of #$$%! I'm glad it wasn't too too bad. I figured they would've done more damage than they did. I was surprised they didn't steal the tv's in the back. Hopefully, you get it back real soon!

we've have had our car stolen also one and only car a (work van) had the doors opened like a can opener. the egnition key thing was take off or drilled off. tools were taken and even the things that make the car good. like what

My truck got stolen by my cousin a few years ago and it was found a couple days later down a little embankment. Some stuff was messed up in it and it was dirty like yours. She is now serving time for that crime and a laundry list of other things.

Thats so sad. What the heck were they doing with there feet on the ceiling. Was your key left in your car cause the car alarm didn't go off and it didn't look hot wired. Might be good to get a steering wheel lock and some super bright motion lights. Sorry this happened. Glad it was found.

Also if your insurance only covers 30 a day and it is usually a smaller car but u can also get an SUV since u have a bigger family and they will let u pay the difference. So my daughter had to do that and that's what she did was pay the difference

But to blame the partents is not called for. Bad parents can raise good kids and good parents can raise bad kids. My dad was in and out of jain from the age of 19 till after I was born and he had an absolutly outstanding mother who took on the burden of raising me after my parents failed me. If I do say so myself I am a pretty great person. I have never been in trouble full time job about to graduate with a bachelors degree in Psychology. We have kids young as 13 stealing cars in my city. Also had this 9yr smash up a house. I won’t say what else they did in the home. But they needed serious help. But these kids stealing cars, doing ram raids because they won’t get charged. They get away with it. Time after time shops are being broken into, jewellery stores, vape stores. It’s getting out of hand. I’ve had dreams of being in a supermarket and being robbed :( I can’t help feel like that. They want our country to be smoke free. By 2025 which by then it’s going to get a lot of worse. Shop keepers being attacked it’s utterly disgusting. I live in a dead end street. You can come in but you can’t get out. So you have to drive back out. We have had 2 police chases in our small street. And 1 of these days someone is going to get killed. Cars get stolen day or night sadly. Worse if it’s raining especially heavy rain. :(
