I agree, Father. It is not about "feelings", for if one's conscience is not well formed, one can "feel" at peace with doing evil, and just be presumptuous in thinking "oh God loves me anyway, though I water down His commands and twist them to suit my evil desires". Sometimes to do what is right is to sacrfice your peace taking responsibility of your decision, keeping in mind of my fufillment in the present moment, thus remaining faithful in what shall come next. Since everything happens for a reason, keep in mind your present sacrifice shall be for a greater cause. Therefore nothing is ever in vain, it is a matter of being assertive, focused and patient.

Good video, Father. You're right about not relying too heavily on emotions, since they can be disordered. When I went on a pilgrimage to Italy with my parish, I was afraid to fly. I was tempted not to go, but decided not yo listen to the fear, and had a fantastic time. 👌

Wonderful news. Thanks for sharing. I have to figure out how to follow the peace as a married person. Following the peace can feel like a Compromise between two people. I grew up with the village, my spouse grew up avoiding the village. Just wanna be a saint

In consequence the enthusiasm I had for the writings of Mani was diminished, and I felt even greater despair of learning from their other teachers after having consulted on the many points which disturbed me the man who was particularly distinguished. However, I began to spend time with him because of his warm love for literature, the subject which at that time I was teaching young men as a professor of rhetoric at Carthage. I used to read with him either books which he expressed a desire to hear or which I thought appropriate for a mind of his ability. But my entire effort, on which I had resolved, to advance higher in that sect was totally abandoned, once I had come to know that man. My position was that had not found anything more satisfactory than tha tinto which I had somehow fallen. I decided to be content for the time being unless perhaps something preferable should come to light. So the renowned Faustus, who had been for many 'a snare of death', without his will or knowledge had begun to loosen the bond by which I had been captured. For in your hidden providence your hands, my God did not forsake my soul. By my mother's tears night and day sacrifice was being offered to you from the blood of her heart, and you dealt with me in wonderful ways.

I was a terrible sinner as young man and aggressive, doing pre marital sex. When my girl friend cheated me, I forgave her even she cheated me multiple times more but I started struggling to find peace. I acquired severe depression and anxiety because of that experience. Despite of everything I marry her expecting it will help her change but its opposite she cheated me for 10 years as I was working abroad and make our own house as sex den with her lover. What keeps me holding on is our daughter. I dreamed of a decent and happy family with God in the center. For Almost one year now am living in the dark fighting against my pride, pain, hate, jealousy, insecurity and trying hard to embrace this suffering and hoping to find pure love in my heart and forgive her once again and find peace in God’s time.

Greetings Father Mark, Thanks for the kind message such that the Gift of Discernment comes through Our Lord Jesus Christ. My Thoughts : I faced Personal Conflicts through Two Ladies of other faith one in same line of Work and Other being Authoritative, Elite Socialite with same trait Characteristics in their Priorities 1. Father ,2. Profession , 3. Religion 4. Friends, and then only Myself. But stayed in only verbal communication and never ever involved in Physical Proximity in respective relationship. I now stay in Prayers before Lord Jesus Christ with a new start in Spiritual, Professional and personal life with blessings of My parents. With regards with Prayers, RanjithJoseph (R J)

We disagree about this. “Make peace with yourself, and both heaven and earth will make peace with you.”-St. Isaac the Syrian “He is our peace...that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace...” (Eph. 2: 14-15).

@@seans.1331 Elysium (the place of the owner of life, abundance, everything, all living water) and the world (part of the human body) = both are different. A. Providing inherent, infinite abundance- Creator b. Creation (mankind and all creatures). Elysium (life) = natural, quieter, less use, etc. World (body) = more, more powerful, louder, money, assets, facilities, higher education, jobs, etc. Humankind is focusing a deteriorated body, which will be destroyed. God, lord, etc. are men made and given names for the fake and idol made by men.
