You have to double tap pretty quickly, short space between taps. To get into brake mode, when off keep the button held in (hold it at least 5 seconds - longer if not sure). It will end up either blinking (brake mode off) - or fully on (brake mode on). Then when you let go the light will go out completely - to show you changed modes. Turn on again and mode (brake on or off) should be active. When trying to change brake on or off - don't just hold it until it starts blinking, as it may just power up in a blinking mode! Hold it for ages and see where it ends up! You will know you have changed between the two modes AND the light will go out (not power up) when let go of the long hold!

any plans on making the brake sensor less sensitive as i feel that's the biggest con of what's potentially one of the best tail light option on the market. If you tune the brake sensor, the light will have much improved battery life. as it stands the thing is just too sensitive and can't see how it got through testing in normal usage. Thanks!

Mine seems to cycle through completely different modes. I get low, high, comet high, comet low, breath, and then it goes back to low. A double press doesn't do anything.. There's no quick flash mode which is what I really wanted. Also, it doesn't seem to have a motion sensor. I get the bliink to indicated it's in smart mode, but nothing happens with motion

Dear sir, you had shown in the video as switching off motion sensor but this doesn’t work. Can u explain In detail pls. To my understanding if motion sensor is switched off, will lights work without sensor? Pls clarify. Thanks, Praveenn india

Hi there, please long press for 5 secons and when the light flashes, the motion sensor is off.

Thanks for your reply, After holding for 5sec 1. one time light blows constantly (as per your video motion sensor is on) 2. And other time light flashes (as per your video motion sensor is off) I had done as per 2, when it starts to Flash I leave the button switch and the light gets switch off, and then again I switch ON the button but found light sensor in ON mode only. Should I keep my hand pressed in switch after flash mode begins? Should I restart light only after any time interval from sensor OFF? Or should I keep in any preferred mode only? Or after motion sensor is switched OFF, will bottom light will still be glowing as usual? Pls guide me, Sorry to disturb u again. Honestly you folks can do much better job in putting a strong and user friendly manual. It sucks to turn off or disable the smart sensors. Your video is in't much help either. Pls take this into consideration :)

yesterday I was riding in the rain for 3 or 4 hours and the light stopped working... even if the USB port was sealed the water penetrated inside and the light went off

Still no fast flash especially irregular flash pattern which is by far the most attention getting. Once again I’ll pass on this new light from them. They almost got it right. I’m a long time bike messenger in nyc and I’ve tested out every flash pattern there is and cars give you the most distance and slow the most down with fast irregular flash patterns like with the Super flash Turbo by Planet Bike. They have the perfect flash pattern and brightness. The worst flash patterns where cars go fast by you and extremely close to you are constant on and also slow pulse. Fast slash is good but not to fast where it just looks like it’s constant on basically, the best is irregular flash pattern though.
