This band is more balanced and sounds better as a whole this year but 2014 articulated it better I just like those short tag notes they did then

I always wondered why the brass in general seem to raise their heads and bells all the way to the air when they are about high notes, does it help?

Yea most people will tell you that it contracts the muscles in your abdomen with help with a faster air stream to hit the note higher, louder and fuller

Low key it doesn't, but cranking and taking a breath, you'll probably raise your horn. It's just the intensity, if you can crank and play high or just play high in general without moving and not yank your horn down, then you're really beasting. But a good mouthpiece and horn setup is gonna help a lot with that
