Still, Retro Games in my Opinion actually were Challenging, which is probably the funnest aspect a Video Game could possibly have. Nowadays, Games are too easy and hold the player's hand. Rarely do Games now actually come with Challenge.

NPC Hunter That's poor logic because side scrolling platformers and fighting games were what FPS and open world games are now. Your acting as though every single idea before 2000 was original and that there were no "shovelware games" designed for a quick buck. Anyways this last part is just personal preference but I would rather play a game that's based on the cutting edge of gaming technology like Skyrim or GTA than just be stuck constantly looking back at the past.

I would not. I hate skirim ad play gta alot but if given the choice would take marioworld or vectorman or metroid or megaman over any gta. I'm older than you I'm sure so these games do not hold any value to you I'll bet. Also, there are great games today like Last of Us and the Metal Gear franchise. I'd even put Infamous Second Son for my PS4 up there as a great. Alien Isolation was amazing. But the amount of amazing games in the 90s outweighs the amount of amazing games today by quite a bit.

Because the 32x and Saturn was making it bankrupt, by the time the Dreamcast was on sell it did good expect people stopped buying it after the release of the ps2. Sega got killed by Sony, Nintendo somehow survived. But Nintendo as of now is selling the switch which is the fastest selling console so yeah.

The Genesis had a faster main CPU, but the SNES was overall a more powerful machine with superior graphics and sound. The SNES was superior in every single specification expect CPU mhz, which everyone today knows does not determine how good a gaming machine is.

Sega? well their (Welcome to the next level) was getting derailed by Nintendo's "Play it Loud" marketing, Sega V Nintendo was also supposed to have a VR war but Sony made Sega nervous. leaving Nintendo to collapse on extremely young tech (by todays standards.)

Not even close. Nintendo has manage to be dominant in the market with both consoles and games doing pretty descent, with some exceptions of course. Furthermore Nintendo owns the two biggest gaming franchises, Super Mario and Pokemon. Also Nintendo does something that most other game companies forgot. Make the goddam games fun. I enjoyed playing Splatoon more than any Call of Duty or Battlefield.

Despite the epic fail of the Wii U, Nintendo has over 10 billion dollars CASH in the bank, the company is in the black, the 3DS, Wii U, and Amiibo all sell at a profit. The success of Pokemon Go alone has raised Nintendo's market cap from 20 billion to 37 billion *AND COUNTING* in just one weeks time. That make their market cap even with Sony's. Even when Nintendo screws up, they still know how to manage their money. That's why all their consoles wind up selling at a profit. Nintendo isn't going anywhere. Meanwhile, despite the run away success of the PS4 and it selling at a profit of $18 dollars per console on day one, Sony as a whole is still nearly 5 billion dollars in the hole. So if anything Nintendo may wind up buying the gaming division of Sony somewhere down the line.

The Nethermancer actually genesis's precessing is not as good as arcade games and neogeo. It's just sub par. But SNES's processing is really bad, even more than pc-engine.

On almost every technical aspect, the Super Nintendo is better. The only thing the Genesis had over it was a synthesizer and (of course) faster processing. The Super Nintendo, however, had 64 times the colors available on the Genesis, bigger sprites, Mode 7, the Super FX chip, more simultaneous sprites, higher resolution, 2 more audio channels, as well as twice the RAM, and more onscreen planes. If you're arguing that it's better than the NES, well, IT CAME OUT 4 YEARS AFTER THE NES, of course it's going to be more advanced. It also had the advantage of being released into a market that was saved by - what else - the NES.

While indeed the genesis chip was 7.2mhz unlike snes at 3,6mhz the blast proscessing alowwed the genesis to ho over 10mhz

Yes it did they just called it blast processing so it would be better marketed. Blast processing is the fact that the Genesis's processor ran at 7.67 while SNES's processor ran at 3.58 MHz.

Guys.....this was the time when Sega can compete Nintendo which was basically true, but to bad Sony killed Sega, the Genesis was my first console and it was fantastic, then I started playing Nintendo since the n64, don't get me wrong but Nintendo is fantastic as always but this was a serious competition.
