For me it was; shining force shining in the darkness, Street of rage 2 , Puggsy, Sonic 3 and Ecco the Dolphin - like I didnt enjoy ecco the dolphin but it was literally on a gaming kiosk and display at my local store (which sold nes, snes,genesis,pc and gameboy games back then) because it was "EYE CANDY". Visually it was one of the best looking 16 bit games and graphics alone hooked many kids to buy it - and because it was also a playable dolphin ofc.

Streets of Rage and Golden Axe trilogies plus the Sports games sold it for me. I never cared about anything Nintendo did after the original NES era ended. Sega kid since 1991.

@@theretrobro nah just a 35 inch in the living room but had as a kid 2600, NES, SNES , Genesis , Gameboy, PS1 and N64 so I kept busy
