I have been working with my dr to get a scooter. Anthem is giving us a hard time. I am disabled and really need one to be able to get around now. Any suggestions? If you know of anyone who has reviewed and donates stuff like tour mom please give them my name. I am also looking for a solar charger in case my power is turned off. How many pounds is the base without chair or battery attached? What's the most weight one would have to be able to lift to set this up and take it apart solo?

The base weighs 60lbs. The complete unit weighs in at 101lbs. In the very front of the unit there's a handle there so if your vehicle is not to high, you could probably put one end inside. Then use the handle to complete the transition into the vehicle.
