The 3 segment display defeats the whole purpose of a 3 segment display. Since there is now rotations, it would require 5 bits, when a normal 7 segment display requires 3 bits, thus, increasing the processing power and storage space needed.

for 3seg it looks weird, but the 0 can be shown by lighting all of them up
