You people act like power is literally the only thing that matters when it comes to price. It’s a worse value than a burn e just because the burn e has more power? What about design and build quality, smooth handling, a throttle smoother than anything else out there, the best cruise control, other stuff.

Few things here: The Nami has better suspension, better acceleration, better top speed, a better kick stand, better range, better brakes and it's 500-600 dollars less. Nothing rides as smooth as a nami either. This is nice for sure, it's not 4k dollar nice though. The Nami is also waterproof as well. Go check out electric scooter guides review of the original burn e viper, it broke 13 of the 16 records they test for. It's not called the Ferrari of the scooter world for nothing.

The number #1 factor is repairability the Segway is going to be a complete nightmare. You can have all the best design and waterproofing but if you can't get in the thing use aftermarket parts to repair it then it's junk. This my friend is going to 4k reduced to 1.5k in a year like all there other scooters.

Yeah I also don't get where this is coming from. People focus to much on speed, it also happens with cars and bikes, something can drive fenominal but people will still say something similar that doesn't drive nearly as good but is faster is also better smh... Scooters, cars, bikes etc you all need to drive it before you can judge it. Speed alone is a terrible measurement

Two of those cons are big pros in my book: being expensive allows it to be made with proper R&D behind it which is unlike practically any other super scooter, and having the folding mech up high should reduce the wobbles and strains that sometimes crack welds. Can't wait to get one.

@@official.electricdreams Thats great to hear, a lot of the time I just rather go on long cruises, explore new areas and some of these places I'll be limited to speeds of 20ish mph at the most because there's other people around and I don't want to wear heavy safety gear, I'm sure I'll take advantage of the dual motor from time to time and its speed but I want to know that I have the range to explore faraway places, the main reason I got the GT2 over the GT1 was the larger battery size, besides most of my rides will be in full performance mode for my local area. I also checked out the Dualtron Storm but it's not on the same level when it comes to refinement (water resistance, throttle control and other features like sentry mode), I also can't stand the trigger control they have on those things. Go Dualtron. Although nothing will match your Yamaha R1, the guys at mini motors in San Francisco - NY and Voro motors in LA are really cool and will more than gladly help you. Like the Yamaha you bought from the dealership you have a dealership network with Dualtron. Segway axed all the dealer Network and if anything goes wrong with this GT2 you will have to send it back to Michigan on your own dime both ways. That's an expensive proposition. When all is said and done I believe the Dualtron 2 will be right up your alley with 60 MPH speed. It's a killer scooter. Edit: voice to text grammar error.

I'm sorry I just don't like it. Why build a tank with worse specs than a mid range scooter? If you want something slow to medium speed you should at least get portability. If you buy a tank you should at least get a big ass battery for range and speed. aesthetics will not get you out of a bad situation in the street. Being able to get that baby on the sidewalk or up on a median, will. and at least here in NY, you should not be riding on the sidewalk if you can do 25mph. I am very leery of that waterproof claim. They said the Emove cruiser was waterproof as well, but when you talk to people who actually own one, they get wet and they die! also the inability to change setting on the fly tells me they think the rider is a complete idiot, and for 4 grand I expect to be treated like I know what I'm doing.

It's not for everyone so yeah there are other choices out there but since this is Segwya 1st attempt on creating a Super e-scootsr this is indeed a winner!

The whole reason most of my friends won't get this scooter is because it's so extremely ugly and it's a big turnoff for the scooter community especially if they're gas scooters wanting to convert they all stuck their tongue out and said yuck

Wow I’m surprised by this comment, I actually think aesthetically it’s the best and the main features, always nice to hear from the other view points. How do you think they should have designed it?

Это не супер скутер, это просто маркетинговый скутер, за такие деньги есть намного более мощные самокаты нежели эта ерунда.

Let me leave you something to think about. Dealer Network. Segway got rid of their dealer Network and if anything has to be repaired on this scooter you will have to send it back to Michigan on your own dime both ways to get it fixed. I talked to the dealer who used to sell Segways and he was kind of pissed the way they got rid of him. Still he was kind enough to fix my scooter. Where you have a Dualtron dealer and repair center in New York, LA and San Francisco via Mini motors and Voro all top notch guys. Getting a Dualtron is a solid choice and you get the help that you need and aftermarket support.
