Got mine for $600 on sale. Very happy with it so far! Feels super solid and handles roads and sidewalks with ease. Range isn't as impressive as the full model but is still nearly double that of my old Hiboy, so I'm happy.

Just watched your original review of this scooter and then found this one covering the new model. What peaked my interest was the advertised range of the scooter in your review from a year ago. Now the newer model has half the range (if I understand correctly) and is $100 less. Doesn't sound like a good deal to me at all. I'd take the older model at $100 more 7 days a week. I went from pulling the trigger on this scooter to just moving on from buying it in the time it took me to watch this review.

They're auto applied when you hit the lever and slightly charge up the battery

Hopefully come you’ve found the answer by now. The documentation says that it will beep until you connect it to the app via Bluetooth. That’s your issue.

These things are hackable with xiaoflasher, but it will void the warranty, drain the battery faster and might burn through your controller.

I think there’s a factor control issue cus after 10 miles on mine I’m at 65 % and the one time I did use the full battery I got almost a full 30 miles

I ordered the original Max last Christmas for $650 AUD and had so many issues but they have now sent this. Do you think it's worth keeping for that price or should I sell it on and get something elsewhere?
