It may also be important to note that the wall wrecker’s uses are heavily influenced by its faster speed compared to the log launcher. The wall wrecker is almost always better to go with any sort of hero dive and is more “surgical” than the log launcher; also has ~2/3 the hp of a golem of the same th level. So some armies can actually be very much hindered with a log launcher as it just won’t break the walls as quickly and will travel behind the kill squad, eventually getting targeted by, for instance, sectioned off multis that the squad missed. This won’t be an issue with the wall wrecker which can travel at the same pace as the heros, tank any point defense, and just lead them directly to the town hall. Log launcher is better like 70% of the time, especially at th10 and 11. But with extra infernos and th defense past th12 the log launcher can become more inconsistent because it’s more likely to get targeted by some long range or multi targeting defense as it separates from the squad. It can also sometimes throw off an attack as it will activate the town hall early which if you didn’t take the time to plan for can be a huge issue. I remember the WW goes insanely well with th11 zap witches because filling it with bowlers + a giant and bringing a rage means that it just guts the core before the squishy splash-prone troops get there, and no giga tesla means the bowlers should survive long enough to get good value. Log launcher is also surprisingly good for ensuring a 2* if you need to attack up a th level or 2 in war; since you need to worry about extra defenses and total dps you can’t always rely on a regular squad + wrecker to get to the town hall. The LL will at the very least secure pathing to the town hall if you’re using a ground attack. P.S., love your videos, Corrupt. Sorry to hear you’ve been a bit burnt out as of late. The flame flinger has really made clash of clans so diverse. So many pro players can now take out corner town halls with them. You can make so many different type of armies. I choose the log launcher over the wall wrecker if I want to deal damage to buildings in front AND behind the town hall. It is slow and will not most of the time make it to the town hall. Wall wrecker, usually when I am attacking the opposite side of the town hall and when I want my clan castle troops to get to the town hall (especially for th12, th13 and th14). Stone slammer works really well with air attacks like dragons and edrags. It can be a great way to distract single infernos (especially when it deploys the clan castle troops i.e. balloons). It can open walls around defenses which can be beneficial for opening compartments for heroes especially the king to go in front of the queen. Battle blimp is to get to an area of the base or the town hall quickly. Especially useful in war if I want to get the two star. I have only really used the siege barracks for hybrid and smash attacks. Exactly how the master corrupt does. :) Corrupt, happy that you are back.
