Eight months later and I'm expecting delivery of one of the many NH34-equipped microbrand GMTs any day now. And since it's not a Seiko, it has a 24 click GMT-bezel, sapphire, a screw-down crown and a screw-link bracelet with a fully milled clasp. What it doesn't have is an original design (SM 0109, BB GMT homage) - but considering the fact that, including cost of import, it's 40 percent less expensive than the Seiko, I think I can live with that. Not bashing the Seiko here, it's just amazing to me that you can get these micro-brand watches with vastly more impressive specs and, probably, higher end finish for such low prices. Or perhaps Seiko really are just a bit too ambitious with their pricing. Traditional jewelry-/watch-dealers over here currently want €500 for that GMT. Which, I think, is a bit much. Heck ... for just €50 more I could get Steinhart's cheapest GMT model - and that thing is Swiss Made and has an SW330 in the back.

Looks like the bracelet links are the screw type and not the Pin/Collar. I hate the Pin/Collar on my Monster but love the watch. Is this the screw type pins. I am thinking about getting this watch.

I'd consider this if they ever make a pepsi bezel one.

Now this watch have crown with brittle Glass insert, I don't think it will be that resistance to shocks. I guess glass breaks and become super ugly after all. Aluminium will scratch but will not break.
