I've spent a few weeks enjoying my new Alpinist and thought I'd share my thoughts & impressions. One of my takeaways, is that this addresses all of my issues I had with the SARB033. Obviously a different watch, but ticks a lot of boxes that the SARB failed to.

Great video, just ordered one myself. I love how versatile it is. Looks dressy if you want it to be but throw it on a different strap and the old school field watch vibes come out.

Thats actually a very handsome looking watch. Surprised it has sapphire crystal.

Great question, but sort of difficult to answer. I've found that they're two very different watches in terms of when and where I would wear each of them. For me, and relative to other watches I own, the spb117 sits more in the dressy category and so I typically rotate it in with my other watches I wear to work at the office. Whereas with the SSC813, it's more of a casual sporty watch and one that I wear outside of work. So, that's how they fit into my collection but you may have different ways of thinking about them, and when/where you'd wear them. Hope that's helpful.
