I wear it more than I thought I would. The brown leather band is exactly the same shade of brown as the boots and belt I wear with tan chino's for work! lol. Works perfectly.....I actually find the leather strap more comfortable in the Australian summer than a bracelet. Very light and comfortable watch that looks great. :) Yes it's a dress watch, but it's also that more modern interpretation that can go well with smart casual / less formal business clothes, especially if paired with other items of the same colour, with tans, browns, greens. It's not a sport watch for sure.

Very good review thanks. The color is probably one of the best, besides the silver or white that I also like a lot. Like you, I dont have many occasions to dress up and the weather is usually quite hot, so metal bracelet would be the way to go. On a bracelet and with fifty m wr, I would wear it as an everyday watch.

I've always loved looking at watches and have a few low level ones, I was wanted to own a nice automatic. I was looking in a Watch shop, I saw one of these, it had no price on it but I thought it was the classiest and most beautiful watch in the display, just out of curiosity I asked the price , It was second-hand and very reasonably priced. I bought it, And am totally in love with it I ddon't see how that even if you spent another £10,000 how you get more beautiful looking watch. It's perhaps a tiny bit flashy for my taste but I find it so elegant with a long sweeping second hand. And just the overall look

I thought of getting this one about a year ago but decided not to when I realise I just needed a nice watch for formal events which is not that often. I just kept on using my Seiko SNXS79 for formal occasions. Just when I decided a week ago to buy it this week, seiko is launching the new cocktail presage SRPK75 which has a mesmerising dial. ..and this time I am not hesitating. I just pre-booked one.! Not gonna let that one pass by me!

I tried the green/gilt with power reserve on bracelet a few years ago ,same wrist size & it wears surprisingly well ,only reason i didn't go for it was i actually wanted to try the silver/blue & not the green + i'd not long bought the Kamasu & still had an eye for the Orient sun & moon v3 which won the toss in the end but would still get the silver at the right price maybe 2nd hand.

These can be found on the used market at great prices. You just need to be patient. I’m still keen to pick up the blue dial on a bracelet if is comes up at a good price.

i purchased 2 colour version of this watch , this particular dial /hand colour combination plus the Brown dial version. if i remember correct, the dial seems to be lacquered dial with 7 times pressing technique or something along that line. this is hence slightly cheaper but have looks of enamel or porcelain dial.

These are nice looking watches, but I think Citizen have again a better value for price ratio with their C7 reissue. The blue and green C7 are priced at 199 EUR MSRP here in Germany, but you can get them even cheaper when the store has a sale going on. I think the dials are absolutely gorgeous and I personally like the unusual date wheel position. And everything comes at a much more affordable price point.

It is an amazing looking watch. They do some of the best dials. Especially for the money. They are often on special so keep your eye out and try to grab one at a great price. Thanks for WATCHing

Thanks mate, it’s a great watch. Unfortunately it didn’t show up well on camera, the dial colour didn’t show up nor did the texture. Maybe at some point you’ll be able to get some different lighting shots and/or macro? Even in direct sunlight might help

For me this is a one and done watch if I was on a budget nice watch gold rotor give its subtle beauty and the dial really shows that you dont need a 1k swiss diver or gmt to look good, yeah no lume but most watches did not have loom unleash your a diver that needed a diving watch.
