What a beautifully crafted watch. Everything about it is just class. From the subtle aqua blue accents on the minute hand and the bezel to the graduated blue dial, this watch is an instant conversation starter.

Tried this and the Deep Blue trutle on at my local AD. Feel in love with both but AD wouldn't budge on $. Found a great deal and now am 3 weeks into ownership. Its the best execution of the Samurai, and one of Seikos nicest sub 2K pieces. Its absolutly stunning in person. Like it so much I might have to buy the Sumo Deep blue.

I like the PADI branding on these Seiko’s. If it didn’t have it, I wouldn’t consider buying one. The model looks awesome.

4R35 is no worse than the 6R35. Seiko movements are no good except the 8 series, which is really expensive.

PADI is what legitimatizes this watch - I wouldn't purchase Seiko otherwise
