A review of the Seiko Prospex SPB237 Captain Willard Dive Watch. This is a watch that truly surprised me. It's one of those watches that look much better in person than in photos.

I met a Seiko rep at a watch store in Los Angeles while i was wearing this watch, and he said it is Seiko's attempt to create an "aged" look for a Willard X. The dial is meant to resemble what an early 1970s Willard would look like after decades of sun exposure. Together with the fauxtina lume, it's like buying an early 1970s watch in brand new condition!

I have mine on a SPB153’s black silicone strap. Really happy with it. It sits better on the wrist with the silicone strap than the Natos. Even though the Natos are really nice quality.

Currently around 7 inches but when I short the video it was closer to 6.75 inches. I’ve gained a bunch of weight since 🤦🏾♂️

Just purchased. Bought the Uncle Seiko’s chocolate bar and waffle straps for it. What a piece.

I would duggest you look st buying a " Uncle Seiko " divers watch strap. I bought an spb151 and got a 1970s rubber strap. It looks fsmtastic.

I almost bought an original one last month. (The asking price was 1.200 euro). But as I'm saving up for a Rolex, I didn't bought it in the end.
