Best of luck for your new channel project! This line of watches simply looks great. But they would need sapphire crystals to be perfect field watches which we're not gonna get from Seiko for love or money. I'm hoping for mod parts in the foreseeable future to make this a perfect field watch! 👌

The black and white weave looks amazing on my SRPD27 Monster, or any casual watch with a black dial and white markers. Will you be using a Para 2 and a Para 3 for size comparisons? :)

I never loved the feel of the traditional field watches so I opted for the Orient Defender 2 and I switch it between Nato and Sailcloth straps

If I hadn’t just bought a DressKX a couple of months ago I would have probably got one of these SRPGs day 1! I know I’m totally going to get one in a sale at some point I’m sure 😂 Would definitely like to hear your thoughts after having the watch for a while. Oh and I’m also a big fan of the blue Saturday 🔵 Red Sunday is cool too but blue Saturday is where it’s at 😂

Hey Brian! I KNEW I recognized that voice! I'm fine with watch reviews on the Slicey channel. But, I guess others just can't cut it. That SRPG31 on the perlon... amazing! It's too bad that the Borealis Adraga is no longer made. I can see it now. You coming up with videos where you coordinate your EDC. This knife with that watch... And then there are the straps and bracelets... It never ends. So now I have two reasons to blame you for my purchasing habits. It's quite convenient. Thank you!

I really like the dress KX as a "dress" watch. I have an SKX173 that was my "nice" watch but it needs a service and that is too much. I ended up with the Seiko Tuna, and it is amazing. That being said, it is a bit much for a suit though.

Excellent Seiko lineup. Throw in a SARB 035 to balance it out and you've got it.

The unlumed numerals are this watch's undoing. Could have been almost perfect. Almost because that red second hand tip is the lone red part of the dial. It would make a lot more sense if "automatic" lettering would have been red too. Or better, white font on red field.

I've yet to see a DressKX with a properly aligned chapter ring. I just bought the non-fauxtina black SRPG37 on a Nato...figured there was no chapter ring or indexed bezel for Seiko to screw up...plus I had to have a Seiko branded Nato, and I don't know how else to obtain one.

Just got a Hamilton pilot day date for my "everyday" watch. I wear jeans and a dress shirt to work so it's the right level of dressbfor me. Have you looked at vintage watches at all? You can get some really great Omegas for Hinderer money (definitely for full ti Hinderer money). The main problem is for guys with big wrists the dials are too small. I'm about a 7" wrist and I like them quite a bit.

Like you, I've been on the search for the perfect everyday field watch.... I have the SNK809, but it's just a bit too small for my arm, and I hate, hate, HATE that I can't wear it out camping in a place where I might take an impromptu dip in a lake or lagoon... So this may be the ticket for me! One question, what's the lug width on these new watches? I'm gonna need to go after some nice natos

Just wondering how you feel about the brushed numerals and visibility. Are they visible easily or do they go dark sometimes? I love the look and color, and crystal dome; the numerals play with light really nicely. Fun to look at.

I have a seiko SNK355(it’s one of the many seiko 5’s) and it’s great but the polished case is a bit too much for me

My finger's on the trigger for this one. Really love the dial, colorways and specs. One hesitation: the 13+mm thickness. Does it feel heavy/weird on the wrist?

Thanks for the nice and authentic review. You can get that exact "30 or 40 Dollar Nato" (which I like a lot on my SRPE61) for $2 from Aliexpress. Minus the fancy buckle but otherwise indistinguishable.
