Great video! I tried the original stainless 6R15 Transocean in Tokyo. I initially didn't like the look of the angular design, but when I put it on my wrist, it looked much better. The watch is very comfortable because the sides are tapered toward the case back, making it wear smaller than the 45mm would suggest. This watch is $2K less than the Grand Seiko Spring Drive 200m Ti diver, which makes it extremely good value imo. For the price of a Tudor Black Bay or Oris 100m, you can get a spring drive diver. That's awesome!

This is near perfect. And I thought it couldn't get better than the SBDB015. The SBDB015 has those deceptive recesses along the bezel and a cluttered dial. But, the power reserve on the 15 is just

I wonder how the diver extension work? is it a simple fold out design or more adjustable? Are the claps milled or stamped?

These have a machined clasp and a folding divers extension, it is not ratcheting 😉 If you look at the Transocean chronographs review on the channel that I just did, I was able to get the bracelet fully opened. The GMT is the same configuration😊 cheers

These two are amazing watches however I prefer the regular transocean watch in stainless steel. I’ve never been a titanium fan .

Just can't get in to those straps, you need to be able to change straps on a Seiko, its part if the joy of owning them. They go so well with different straps.

I will never buy Spring Drive . cos it is not accurate as quartz watch and it is expensive cos of new technology. how long it going to last? I got one silly Seiko where the battery goes for 15 years. for 15 years I have accurate time. incredible. I just change the battery and I never be around to change the battery second time cos I be dead by then.

Some people just appreciate mechanical things. I still drive a manual transmission car, and wear a mechanical watch. Driving an automatic car and wearing a quartz watch would be the logical thing to do, but I would find that boring.
