About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

@@rebelfriend1818 He wasn't - she only escaped because he lied to the parole officer. Picture this: You've been doing time for - well, quite some time. You've been on your best behaviour. You meet a seemingly nice person who becomes your partner. They treat you well, bring you things. You discover you're up for parole. With your great behaviour, your remorse for whatever you did, and a great character reference from the aforementioned partner, you're sure you'll be getting out. Then, with no explanation why, you don't get parole. You don't know that the aforementioned partner was a two-faced git. You can't understand it. You're devastated. You've been behaving well all this time, got what you thought was a great character references, only for it to mean zilch. You wouldn't consider breaking out then?

While I realize this is a TV show. You'd think he would put in more effort to convince them that he was not in fact, George Costanza. 😅

I haven’t seen this episode, but just watching the scene at 3:27 I audibly said “Oh no.” when the warden mentioned George’s reference would be a deciding factor to parole.

This episode was during a run of insanely great episodes. Ridiculous, stupid funny. True, the show would not have existed but for Larry David, and his influence was surely there even after he left. But things went to another level after he did. For some, it jumped the shark. For most of us, though, it was just unleashed, manic, crazy fun. Loved the last two seasons.

I didn’t know he left the show. I liked it better after he left. I agree with you, the last few seasons were the funniest.

I think Jerry always had a major impact for all 9 seasons, with or without Larry David, he was the main glue of the show even in story and dialogue writing, after all the show was named after him

@@leobrussel9471 yeah true, both Larry and Jerry knew each other for 15 years prior to Seinfeld. So Jerry probably learned of Larry's Personality, also Jerry himself is obviously really funny
