The Electric Blue Acara is a color morph of the Blue Acara. The Blue Acara is native to the waters of Central and South America. They are a oval shapped fish with a bluish-green body and blue fins.
They prefer a water temperature range of 72 - 85 degrees and a pH range of 6.5 - 8.0. They have a semi - aggressive temperament, but can be place with other South American cichlids. They do well with fish such as the Red Head Tapajo or Angelfish. They are omnivores and will accept most foods like a high quality flake food or something like our Small Pellet Fish Food.
