I started using and selling Seint in March, and ended up breaking out in a hot itchy rash on my face EVERYTIME I wore this makeup. It’s crazy to me how when you tell someone who sells it that you are having issues with the makeup they get so upset about it and blame you for not being able to use it “correctly “. They are so BRAINWASHED. I sold and used for a little over a month, and during that time I found out how HORRIBLE this company truly is. Its sickening! I spent a good chunk of money on this BS But, I am happy I got out as fast as I did and never got fully sucked in. I AM ANTI MLM 🙌

Oh, for the love of… an allergic or sensitivity reaction isn’t about using a product incorrectly! It’s just something that happens, and name an ingredient there’s someone out there who will react to it. I am so glad you weren’t taken in by any ‘it’s just a detox’ or ‘you need to apply in this order’ BS

They totally will! They will make videos trying to spin it that they are misunderstood and falsely accused of being exactly what they are. Then they show pictures of themselves laughing and frolicking in a field of flowers with other huns in similar outfits, then it will be another video that they are "just jumping on" for rebuttals to questions that people are starting to ask to confuse them because the first set of lies are wearing off. Then it is the sob stories how this mlm saved their life. You know how we know this will happen? They all do it!! They cant possibly be brainwashed when the all say the same thing!! They just happen to all think on the exact stream of thought!! Hahahaha Bless their little scamming hearts.

Seint has such a really pretty aesthetic. Before I new it was a mlm I thought it was a legit business of women selling makeup. I thought it was so unique. The makeup. I had finally messaged a lady saying I wanted to purchase some makeup. Long story short before I even actually bought the makeup she started pitching to me. I was like I have no experience selling and why do you think I would be a good fit? You replied back and I just never bothered to read till I finally did and she had blown me up. I got weirded out and thought she was a scammer. Haha but now I know it’s an mlm and now I know what what really going on.

I'm from Utah (home of a million mlms) and this one particularly targeted the community I grew up in. I didn't join as a distributor but I tried the makeup (totaling over $100) and it was AWFUL. I wasn't anti-mlm back when I tried it (3ish years ago) so I gave it a shot. MLM stuff aside, the product sucks.

My favorite part of MLMs is that it is both easy money and it is hard to fail at this, but it is also a very hard job that is difficult to maintain..... Hmm....

Yes…at first they say, “part time work for full time salary! More free time to spend with family and friends!” Once you’re in, it is suddenly “You need to work the business 24 hours a day! Work even when spending time with family and friends because if you don’t then you won’t succeed in this business!”

Farmsi just landed in my small town and I'm sharing the hell out of any anti Farmsi vids I can find I swear if this mlm lands here I'm moving. We already have 31, mk, yl, thrive, usborne, pink zebra, scentsy, (we had llr) and we have younique. I feel like I'm in the stepford wives everyone but me sells some sort of mlm

Also, I usually half watch and listen to your videos while I'm working. Right now I'm stuffing checks into envelopes and this girl said something outrageous so I scoffed and looked at the screen and you looked in the camera and made a face at the same time. Feels like we're hanging out listening to this crap together irl 😂

As a side note when it comes to Demi Colour...you CANNOT make commissions on any Demi sales UNLESS you get "certified" by Seint to sell it. You need to send in a video of you using Demi, then the company decides whether you can get certified. The artists shell out extra money for a Demi kit (upwards of $600 mind you) and then they can't even make money off of the sales right away. This on top of the kit they already initially bought to get started. THAT also means, you can have artists under you who are "certified" but if you aren't, you make no downline commission on Demi sales. So it basically forces these higher ranking artists to get "certified" and sell Demi, even if they don't really want to. Crazy.

Demi was my final straw with the company. It was a crock that It was even said she invented this concept. Full circle moment when I heard that and remembered I had been using a color correcting pallet that cost $5 before I began selling Maskcara. Then the way they have Demi set up for the top to do so we’ll with it was sketchy too.

Ummmmmm most jobs don’t expect you to work on your honeymoon or a few minutes after giving birth. There’s this little thing called paid-time-off and maternity leave that mean you can spend that time purely on your personal life. Bragging that you were selling stuff three minutes after pushing out a baby is not a flex, it’s dumb.

literally never found a dupe for this company ever. I’ve looked for years. I love the makeup. It makes my skin look amazing. I tried finding something OTC and could not. I want the one pallet that you can customize. I also won’t deal with mean girls so if anyone has a kind reply to my question. Thanks.

@@finleysgaming4076 at the end of the day, it's your money, so spend it however you'd like. But with as pricey as some of Seints products are, I feel like you could try at least 2-4 drugstore products for the same amount of money (depending on the product), which would save you a lot of money in the long run. But if you absolutely love how it looks on you and you've tried many other things and it's not the same, and you're willing to pay that much and contribute to this type of business model, then you do you, and no one should shame you for falling in love with a brand's products before knowing the bad about them. But I would recommend at least trying the dupes Isabella will be putting in this future Seint dupes video! You never know, you may find something you like even better.

I hope you can find some dupes in Isabella’s upcoming video for seint products, so you can put your hard earned money into a legit company and not a pyramid scheme.

My theory: in 2016 is when Senegence exploded in Utah (or everywhere I guess, but Utah is the place for MLMs…) and I think that’s when Cara really saw the potential of what could be made.

Great deep-dive! I don’t know if I missed this, but a huge red flag 🚩 to me is the term “artist” they use; I know all of these companies try to choose a vague and cute term to both try to avoid being immediately identified as an MLM and/or as a marketing tactic, but here there’s also a lot of concern that potential customers may assume these Huns are actual, trained, certified make-up artist, which I assume they’re not. So … maybe only slightly less problematic than Beachbody calling Huns “coaches” which customers may infer as certified personal trainers. That’s really gross and not just misleading but also immoral

Omg my mom's neighbor is in this scam! My mom wanted to buy one mascara just to be nice and the lady signed her up for auto shipping. I told her she needed to check and see if she also signed her up to be I distributor! I also told her to report her 😤😤😤

Exec: I worked too damn much at my employer-based career, it took too much of my time and I had no time for my family and friends. Also exec: I did not get lucky. I had to bust my butt, worked on my honeymoon, late every night, and hours after having a baby. If that's not a perfect example of mlm marketing I don't know what is!

I have my own business and I'm the only one telling myself when to work. If I travel and go see family, I'm typically not working aside from checking my emails once a day but I do try to set up a reply to let others know I'm traveling. I'm allowed to take breaks and decide my own hours. I legit couldn't handle the MLM things where I'm told I'm my own boss yet have someone (upline) demanding me to constantly work.

My sister started shilling Maskara a couple years ago. I tried to talk her out of it but she insisted. She only lasted 4 months before she quit and I bought 4 eyeshadows for $48 from her. They were AWFUL. I always wondered what happened to that brand. I’ve been seeing women shilling Seint on Tiktok and something told me it was an MLM so I googled it and sure enough! But I had no idea Seint was just Maskara with a MASK on 😂

Wait, I’m confused. I thought that blond rep said that some people go on the trips ONLY based on sales, and they have no team. But….. according to the trip qualification guidelines, they have to have a team to qualify?

The pricing is insane, professional and luxury brands aren’t even usually that high. No to mention, most people don’t really need to color correct very much if at all.

I was in the company for about 2 months back in 2019 but somehow I still get the emails and am in all the groups 😂 according to the emails, they changed the name in 2020 because “mask” was becoming a controversial search term and they were having some trouble with that. Now, that absolutely could’ve been a cover story, but that’s what I remember them saying about it!

this is my first time watching you and i am just in awe 🖤 your factual breakdowns, commentary, editing, etc are just incredible! i can see the care you have for those that are preyed upon by MLMs. i love how you focus on truly pulling back the curtain and giving folks a real look at what these companies are like. i’m sure it’s opened a lot of people’s eyes, folks both in SEINT and those considering joining. i watch a lot of anti MLM content but i especially appreciate channels that are genuinely trying to reach victims of MLMs. i appreciate your compassion and dedication to your work so greatly. just subscribed and turned notifs on! 💕

I know someone that went from a high earner in Younique to Saint when the company switched over to Saint (or maybe right before it changed but was on for the "new" Saint company.

A friend of mine sells this makeup and I almost bought from her (I still had not awakened to how awful mlms are - I was in one for a couple years unsuccessfully trying to “build a business” 🙄).. anyway.. so I looked into seint at the ingredients bc I try to buy more natural face products, and was pretty grossed out by the ingredients.

What's ultimately so devastating is that this is just another insidious form of oppressing women. A whole generation is being diverted from prolific careers and fruitful lives. These women could be shaping the world (there are so, SO many of them), but instead they're being unwittingly victimized by the greed of others. Those at the top know what they're doing. Those below deserve so much better.

Such an interesting perspective. Have always personally worked as an independent commercial real estate agent or in the corporate world as a mid level manager. The only way to succeed in most MLM is to be there at the start. I have several friends that were at the start of their businesses being developed. One is at 31; one owns the MLM she started out of her own kitchen sink; one who started with Amway but left to start selling in the cellular business at its very beginning. All three women are in different industries and all in MLM. Each has been incredibly successful and worked very hard. They all have teams and are supportive of their team members individual goals. I can’t scoff at the earning potential, but if you’re not in first…the likely thing is that you won’t be killing it. I’m actually trying out the Saint makeup now, which brought me to your channel…

Sounds feasible. All MLM products by default will have to be cheap to produce to allow for all the commissions and bonuses up the chain then corporates cut plus the development, production, distribution costs

People keep saying “you can get dupes!” Then don’t share what the dupes are. I’ve yet to find a better or cheap dupe for Seint. I don’t cake it on, I use it lightly and get compliments constantly on my makeup. I’ve tried many other cream products that seemed similar and it just did not work for me. If you found a viable dupe, please let me know!

They offer "one of the most lucrative plans in the industry," yet also state that the average "artist" makes between $42 and $600something CAD annually. Oooof. At first I thought that was contradictory, but it actually makes a lot of sense within the MLM context, considering most people make $0.
