Kiro 25 maybe for you, I loved the challenge of it. It wasn’t absolute bullshit that I struggled with, it was the same as other boss fights. Learn to deal with it and find what works

One of the only games where a skilled player can legit bully the final boss. No gimmick tricks, no overpowered attacks, no platforming nonsense. Just raw skill vs brutal design. Perfect.

@@Codex_0613 to be fair, Sekiro already cut his stomach. wouldve been redundant if Isshin did it again. Wouldve been even more epic if they showed his guts spilling, would give Isshin steeling himself for the finishing blow have more weight

I'm pretty sure this Isshin was immortal like Genichiro was, he did that because he knew Sekiro would win anyways and he got the fight he wanted anyways so might aswell die with honor.

@@Tacticaviator7 Genichiro is not immortal, he cosumed the sediment which Improves Strenght and Regeneration but it actually stops resurrection. If he was immortal he wouldn't need Kuro at all.

He's absolutely right. As much as this fight may be difficult, the fight is absolutely god-tier, probably the best final boss FromSoft has ever made. Gehrman is a close contender (Moon Presence is more of a gimmicky boss so), but I still prefer Sword Saint Isshin over Gehrman.

I recommend fighting her later for she is an optional boss unless you’re going for purification ending. And the snap seeds are way easier to get late game. I dont like running around the whole arena, you still might get hit but more importantly your sorta lose the location which the lady is at and if you use snap seeds it makes the illusions break faster and you great right back to combat with the lady. But since you’ve already beaten her, congrats bro:)

So parrying his bullets with the hat actually loads the hat which then can be released in the hat r1 attack.. damn the details

You can release the hat with the r1 attack regardless how many you absorberd or haven't at all. You can use divine confetti and get the same effect with a charged r1 on the umbrella

It charges up with any attack, not only bullets-- I like using it against the Shichimen Warrior, blocking his stream with the umbrella and using the ranged R1 attack right after. You can do the same against Nightjars' throwable weapons, etc.

@@pain002 i find those dudes so easy man, it just takes learning the few patters they have and the hitboxes and is free xp, no need for niche mechanics like the hat reversal imo. When they jump you can actually oneshot them too

I've beaten Isshin three times, but usually I'm too busy checking my health bar, selecting my healing gourd and trying to keep my heart rate under control to notice this: 2:09 . The way he screams, Isshin is having a blast. He's excited because he finally found an opponent skillful enough to make him use Tamura's spear.

When i was playing this game first time and finally meet Issin it was like: "Omg, is this even possible? His health looks infinite and the same with stamina". I spent countless number of tries (way more than 20) and beat him only by cheesing him. I was very bed in mikiri back in these days. And then i played second time, to gain another ending, and taught how to do mikiri right. This time Issin wasn't some unbeatable god for me, but an equal enemy. He still took me 2 tries, but everything felt absolutely different, way more better and cooler. So yeah, Sekiro is amazing game and definitely deserves GOTY award

Man all your fight are just incredible. They look so smooth and stylish that the gameplay start looking like a cutscene at some points. I guess that's what countless hours of practice look like :D When i only have around 170 hours on Sekiro and am at NG+6 with bell demon and no Kuro's charm but still need a lot to learn :D Amazing video as always

I wish I was good as you, still playing the game but damn this was so good, isshin is difficult at first but doable. And you did it without HUD man what a legend. I am on #3rd playthrough gonna do purification ending. But taking a break now as the game broke my mind after 2nd playthough. Seen a few of your videos very good deflection I might just start practice it myself when I start it again. I like your clothes mod. I have something´similar but with red scarf. :D

I always watched perfect runs to learn a Boss attack patterns and count how many times I have to press L1. Have beat mulitple bosses jus by studying their movesets while I’m not playing. Although i wish I could fight even have as good as some of the players on here. Incredible work bro.

For most people it could be longer, because they cant deflect every thing, and isshin gain posture bar much slower, maybe 10min.

Just finished this game and this game already has a very special place in my heart. Isshin is the perfect final boss. This boss battle is a test of how much you've learned since the beginning of this game. This fight test every aspect of a player's skill set.

It’s fucking crazy how as your fighting him and as you keep hearing his saying “hesitation is defeat” as you die,you realize your dying because your hesitating, and once you realize that, then the fight really starts. 🤯
