- Rules -
1. No mods of any kind.
2. No glitches or bugs.
3. Must attempt the challenge on a brand new character and from a brand new game (no new game plus).
4. Time is based on the IGT (in game time). Please show this at the end of your run after quitting out. To qualify for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place's cash prizes, then you must use livesplit.
5. Must record the ENTIRE challenge from the character's creation to when the run ends (after quitting out post Owl kill), no edits.
6. You only get ONE submission.
7. You must play on the most recent patch.
8. Mortal Draw, Air Swimming, and AI breaks, are all banned.
9. Skipping required bosses is banned.
10. You can quit out of the game, but no using quit outs or force quits to exploit bugs. Aggro chains are allowed.
11. Cheesing bosses to render them unable to fight back is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, the Dead Angle* corner stunlocks against Genichiro and Great Shinobi Owl, the Guardian Ape phase 1 stagger loop, and the jumping deathblow/firecracker stunlock on the Corrupted Monk in Mibu Village.
12. For Guardian Ape, you can use any tool you want, but you cannot do the stagger loop which is infinite.
13. For the Corrupted Monk, ash and firecrackers are not allowed.
14. For Snake Eyes, the Dead Angle corner cheese is banned, even if you keep it to five unblocked hits or less.
Dead Angles are allowed, but limited to a total of 5 unblocked hits per combo (this means you cannot do more than 5 unblocked hits between consecutive enemy attacks). Full dead angled combos are allowed on beast type bosses like Ogre, Guardian Ape, or Armored Warrior as these bosses don't block hits anyway. The stunlock loops against door/corners for Genichiro and Owl are still banned under the cheese rule.
Note: 180 degree Dead Angles are allowed and counted in the same way as normal Dead Angles.
