He’s not even started fucking with lighting yet, which honestly I think his stage 3 is easier than his stage 2 cause of it. Lightning attacks, at least from bosses like Isshin Kensei and genichiro are easily counter-able or dodge-able. In other words, easily abusable. I can deal with everything he throws at me but that goddamn jump attack with the spear. That thing ALWAYS hits me.

Isshin is the culmination of everything you've learned while playing. When you get back to that field, you have everything you need. This series was a whole-ass shounen arc. It's so perfect.

Yeah you tend to see people who don't take the time to learn the mechanics really struggle with this guy. Especially people who never bothered to take the time to properly learn how to lightning counter because that makes the last stage super easy. Having success with the bosses in this game almost always comes down to knowing the movesets and countering with the appropriate counter, not dodging. Afro did a great job with this.

@@hm02fly75 i think people go into the isshin boss fight super aggressive at first, then after the spear comes, they lean back and tried to read his moves, thats when they start having a tough time, people see the spear, and its range, and tend to back off. afro didnt even see all of isshins moveset. and basically cheesed his first phase like he did with lady butterfly

Legitimately one of the smoothest fights against the Sword Saint I've ever seen. Hats off to you. Edit: It’s been two years. Y’all are still arguing. I get there have been flawless fights of Isshin, fights that took only like 30 seconds, fights where people used only the Mortal Draw. Whatever, it was just a simple compliment. Chill.

@@siddhant085 Well i don't know about you but i just can't seem to get a hold of his moves. I'm on NG+ 10 right now and in my last atleast 7 playthroughs i beat Isshin and every other boss and miniboss on 1st try while i can never beat Demon of Hatred on 1st try.

So I admit when I first started watching this channel (the start of the sekiro playthrough) I did find afro actually kind of annoying and didn't want to watch again. However, KZfaq then recommended me him again and despite me finding him annoying I kept watching, for some odd reason. Then it eventually it got to the point where not only did I start liking afro, but I actually wanted to see him succeed with sekiro and well now that he has, not only can I say I am happy for him through all the pain and suffering he went through, but I genuinely enjoy his content now. You're awesome man, keep up the amazing work you put into this. It clearly shows you love doing this sort of thing and you are doing a great job, well done sir.

He plays the way I imagine the devs intended us to play, getting creative with prosthetics and creating unique moments. Stealth back stabbing is perfectly fine and effective but the way Afro did it is a memory that will stick with a player.

Dude I just started playing sekiro this summer as I got into the fromsoft genre, and the (for lack of a better word) character development through this series is so incredible that it left a massive smile on my face as you decimated Isshin. Amazing job, through all the rage, that was phenomenal

One of the best gaming videos I've seen, especially with the build up and expcecting you to struggle hard with Ishiin, only to see you completely own in the most amazing fashion. I fucking loved it. I came just to see someone else get owned by Sekiro after beating it, but I leave a subscriber and a big fan. That was fucking awesome and entertaining! Keep it up!
