Short written expression;
The Fiat Tipo model, produced between 1988 and 1995, has the same Type 2 platform as the Alfa Romeo 145, 146, Spider and GTV, Fiat Coupe and Lancia Delta. All of the listed vehicles were noted for their sporty features, which contributed to the fact that Tipo had some sporty stakes even in its regular models. On the other hand, the most special version of Tipo, the Sedicivalvole, made this sportiness feel much more thanks to its powerful engine and other features.
The model had a 2.0lt top dual-axle (DOHC) 16-valve atmospheric-petrol engine with 148ps of power and 173nm of torque. There were no catalytic converters in the models that were produced in our country and therefore the output power was higher and above 150ps. This power and torque were transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. Completing the 0-100km acceleration in 8.4 seconds, the car could reach a maximum speed of 210km / h. It also had a 1.8lt version with a power of 138ps and a torque of 167nm.
In the meantime, the name of Italian Sedicivalvole means "16 Valep" in Turkish. The model name was taken from the motor technology that was widely used in sports cars in the 90's, and having an Italian name made it a more psychologically effective model.
As a result, we think we will decrease our effectiveness even if we tell ourselves the abbreviation of 16V instead of Sedicivalvole. So much so that the same engine was used in the Tempra 2.0ie 16V, but instead of the name Sedicivalvole, a 16V short was chosen. This naturally proved that Tipo Sedicivalvole was a special vehicle.
