Actually this is called no shop run mode beating this mod requires you to jump over all shops and getting home without getting upgrades from shops you get a badge called the ghosted badge by beating this mode

No, no shop run is when you can earn coin at the start and skip all shops but in the video I skipped all the coin at the first level and used shop that I found you could try for yourselves
