I was an addict for 26 years. In and out of rehabs. Been to jail more times than I can remember. Spent 5 years in prison. I had actually been clean for 3 months when I got saved but I was suffering with my addiction. It was a battle I fought and lost many times. After I surrendered my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, He cured me from addiction. Like He made the lame to walk the blind to see. Like He can cure cancer He took my addiction. February 12 2020 I will celebrate 8 years sobriety. That is the grace and mercy of my God.

I got saved and asked Christ into my heart this past week while on a mission trip in Guatemala. I am getting baptized on Sunday. Life feels so much better with Him.

today, i was set free by the love of jesus christ and the grace of god in heaven. after 2 decades of spiritual and physical bondage. i was at the end of my rope. and jesus saved me. addiction, sadness, guilt, and countless other things held me in a pit. but no more. and for that. i give glory to god. in jesus christ my lord. today i publicly rejoice in my savior and boast not of myself but of the goodness of god.

I was pardoned and restored 8 years ago. Amazed by the grace and mercy of God. I am loved!

Love this new song. I was actually surfing for Selah O The Blood to listen to this morning while I was getting my day started and this popped up. I need mercy every day. I need restoration every day. I've been feeling very brow beaten lately. Lots of family problems and I'm struggling with chronic low back pain. We get caught up in every day struggles and depression and we forget that when Jesus saved us, it's for keeps. He doesn't UNSAVE us no matter how imperfect we are. He takes the imperfect and uses it to his glory. Just look at how messed up David was and Rahab the harlot. They were all part of the lineage of Jesus.

God works mysterious ways and is good! For a month now, God laid on my heart that I needed to go get baptized the biblical way. Last Wednesday, I finally made the decision to be baptized! I told the priest and he asked me if I wanted to do it that night or on Sunday! I chose that night! So in the freezing cold (40 degrees in south Florida) I was baptized on March 15. It was amazing!!!! Words can't even explain!!! God is amazing and what strikes me harder is the fact that when I went to my car to go home, the radio blasted on and played a song that said "Grace wins every time"!!! God is amazing. I'm beyond greatful to have Him in my life!

I go to Oswalt Baptist Church in Troutman North Carolina I got saved at our very first church camp in Bryson City North Carolina on August 6th 2007 I got saved I don't remember what the preachers preaching about but I remember getting up walking down to the altar and it feels like the devil and the good Lord was playing tug of war but the good Lord won I member kneeling down and my youth pastor come down right beside me and he said Lee do you need to get saved and I say yes preacher Kevin right win preacher Kevin read John 3:16 to me after he read it I told the Lord to come to my heart right when I told the Lord come to my heart I felt a tight grip in my heart and that's how I know I got saved
