My stepfather saw her when she performed at the Astroworld Six Flags in 1992 and mentioned that he was impressed with Selena's talent and beauty, she looked like a doll spinning around in a musical box

This woman was incredible. She was talented, beautiful, naturally thin which is a blessing, and just a powerhouse in general. I never really knew her music back in 1993 as I was into a different genre of music back then. However, I did hear her song "I Could Fall in Love" and loved it. When I heard he died in 1995, they played that song on the radio and I was thinking: awe SHE was shot?! That's awful. I was pretty shocked and taken aback. Nowadays I watch her past video performances and absolutely understand why people loved her so much. She was so humble and was always smiling and happy, someone who was a positive influence on others. She is still missed by many nowadays. I'm sure if she were still alive she'd be still making music, and having many boutiques around the globe. She really made her mark on this Earth when she was here!

I LOVED her intro! She could really step it out! Very nice!!! She was the complete package. She was GORGEOUS, She had a GREAT voice, Great stage presence, and a HUGE following. This is one of the first Spanish speaking live performances I've watched of hers. I'm impressed! She was a VERY STRONG performer! I didn't realize how good this lady was! Smoooth!

I feel the same way. I just want to be a natural singer and not sell my soul either. I just want to sing for the fun. It makes me not want to get into singing because of the evil music industry. They say in order to be popular you have change and sell your soul to the devil. It's so sad.

Call me weird and crazy but it’s so weird seeing Selena dance and sing to the first song without her 80s perm and clothes cause most of the performances I’ve seen of the song were from the late 80s so seeing it in the year 1992 was kinda odd to me considering she was retiring a lot of her songs from her first 2 official albums around that year once her 3rd album came out
