You guys are right on the nose about that bikini shoot. She didn't want to do that, and was pressured into it, and she vowed to never do a shoot like that again. Being a "sex symbol" was something she was not interested in.

She was too good for earth! I believe God called her home to continue her everlasting life there. So she can continue to inspire Everyone on a greater plan she had for herself. To inspire Everyone to be a Hard working , genuine , humble human being. just a thought that makes me feel like she still here with us . Her Wonderful spirit . Selena Forever. To answer your question about why the best, most talented people go so early? I believe they're simply to good for this often cold, cruel world. And they are made to leave their mark here, a legacy, and then they get called home. No way to prove that, but it sure seems plausible.

@@TheCottons really enjoyed your reactions. Grew up in Texas, same age as selena and those two facts make it impossible for me to be anything other than a huge fan. The decades of music that were stolen from us is still a loss I feel today. My all time favourite selena song is Toro Relajo. Showcases the raw power of her voice. Besitos is another favourite. Maybe cause I'm more Buddhist even though I was baptized and raised Catholic but I believe that those "good people that die young" finished their cycle of reincarnation and attained a soul so pure and vibrant that they couldn't stay on this plane any longer so they were called away.
