Today’s episode, we take a look the Selena Y Los Dinos release of the 1986 7” of “Acuérdate De Mi/Yo Te Daré” and the 1987 LP “Female Vocalist Of The Year: And The Winner Is...”

I was trying to remember why I never got into collecting Selena stuff. I remember, Selena was just about to take-off. I was 16 yrs old, when I saw her in Lakeland Civic Center, in Lakeland, Florida, Nov/Dec, 1994. For some reason, I didn't take onto her until a couple of years later. The music sold differently for Spanish music, and in my little Florida town, we wouldn't get much of our Spanish music. They also did not sell singles, as they did for music in Eng. The first Selena (y Los Dinos) CD I bought, was in Cancún, 1996, while on vacation with my college boyfriend. It was a compilation of hits, that included Siempre and Costumbres, both, Juan Gabriel songs. They did not sold it, in the States---at least not at my music stores.

I have this album on cassette and I have that single on vinyl! So wild that her voice was maturing.

On cassette I have :Alpha, And The Winner is, Preciosa and Dulce Amor. Muñequito de trapo I have on Cd. It was fan made I believe.

Wow! These records sound great. One thing I noticed in these records Selena’s voice is more pronounced. You can really hear her voice in these.

¡Qué álbum tan increíble! Una pieza de colección para cualquier coleccionista de Selena y Los Dinos. Me encantaría que subieras las canciones originales, en KZfaq no podemos encontrar las canciones en buena calidad y originales del álbum. Si pudieras enviarme aunque sea fragmentos ¡Me encantaría! Especialmente la canción "Salta La Ranita"

Esa canción hace como 5 años estuvo en KZfaq en buena calidad pero la eliminaron era parte de una radiodifusora tejana. Se escuchaba muy bien el audio pero ya no esta.
