Being true to who you are is probably the most difficult lesson that you can learn as an adult.

Being self aware so that I can know clearly my future is why I watched this video. We are all unaware of things but we really suck at helping each other overcome things. We know how to complain about other people but never become good a building people to be effective in life. I have noticed this in the church in general (knowing that nobody is perfect) and have become frustrated. Leaders say. "Find a mentor" but mentors are so busy trying to be achieve their own goals that they forget helping others. It's like, to me anyway. a dog chasing it's tail and never quite reaching it. Have we gotten caught up in doing church the wrong way where we are beginning to fail to build effective people and instead are building tired ineffective people. I tend to see that church is trying to keep up with the pace of the world to try and be relevant but we really need to slow down the pace of this world to God's pace. How can I know clearly know my future and be effective if I see the church like what I have described? Am I wrong in seeing this?

Wow I really appreciate the eye opener on self awareness. I was able to relate to everything spoken. I really appreciate that it Holly just talked and not preached. I felt like we were having a conversation and I was finally being a good listener by letting someone finish the conversation lol. I really struggle with being late so the closing remarks about baby steps are something I plan on including in my agenda. I wouldn’t say “I’m never going to be late again “but I had just almost given up on trying to be on time. Which was selfish and much worse I had quit trying to be better in that area. I had picked up an attitude of “if I’m on time great if not what’s new”( Selfishness) So thank you for sharing this self awareness message because I’m always proclaiming to want to be totally selfless not aware that I had boldly taken ownership of selfishness.

Being brought up under a perfectionists family (my father's side ), I didn't always have that Lee way to think things through. If I was asked "why do you always do these things?" It was straight up WHY???!!!" All high decibels, all caps. Emphasis was on the initial reaction having to be perfect, and as well as the secondary. All that mattered was the bottom line vs how, as a perso , I would enjoy the journey to some personal successes. When I was a teenager, I focused on God having the ability to throw people into he'll, so I would never have to worry about going there because I would always have the motivation to do the right things. Looking back now, I can where this made room for issues with love from the father, and extended grace, and validation sometimds only being accepted when "perfect results" were achieved. Anyways, I appreciate the humanity being shown by Holly in this video. Second one I saw this morning. Now, you asked for a comment to see how these videos affect people. Some of us, didn't grow up in the best of homes, but God is showing us what love is. Self-live, whatever. No matter who you help, or how much below the surface the help goes, the reward for you is the same. Stay faithful. At the end of your teachings, you may trawl a fish that's waaaay down deep. We don't always come up, because that's not where we feed. Getting there! Have a great day~

Julie Sanchez, they are trolls who want to discourage and invalidate. No building up in that, only tearing down. Not a right spirit and not even true. Whenever you get into the arena someone will criticize. I love her vulnerability and helpful and very practical messages. She is definitely not blind but as she said revealing blind spots. This troll should find his blind spots. My 24 yo daughter is revitalizing her faith in Christ largely through the Furticks' ministry and I am very thankful for them.

Awesome. It's okay Sister. There are always reasons why we have certain tendencies or habits. Often times it served us due to trauma or hurt etc. Please have compassion on yourself and know that God knows ALL the reasons for our behavior. God can use it all. I have had to work really hard and I still do- at not beating myself up and realizing where things came from. Which also takes self awareness. Happy growing

I loved watching this, now I have to find out why I am always late. Also, I love what Pastor Holly said about the fact that to someone else your blindspot is obvious but to you it's not. I recognize myself in the story of Samson and I now see that I had a Delilah in my life but I was blind to it, it took time and God's grace and space for me to realize. Now I want to really know who I am, to know myself, thanks God bless you

I just finished reading my bible. I don't like it too much because I feel like I can't understand what I'm supposed to take away from it. I was asking myself the same question...How did Sampson not see what his wife was doing? and I felt discouraged from continuing to read. I came in KZfaq and saw this clip. You answered the question I had only maybe 5 min ago been asking myself. Thank you God firstly for being Sneaky Jesus and finding a way to answer me and secondly, Holly for letting God use you. 🙏
