I'm Nami, living alone in Tokyo Japan. The name "Nami" has multiple meanings in Japanese. One interpretation is a girl's name, while the other meaning is "ordinary." Nami no Kurashi, or "Nami's life," combines these two meanings. Kurashi refers to daily life. I don't possess any exceptional skills, and my life consists of ordinary days. I hope you find enjoyment in sharing these simple, everyday moments with me!

I am also so inspired by your gifts and your letters you do for your family and friends. I know it is pretty popular to have souvenirs and gifts for others but where I live we have kind of gone away from that sort of lovely notion. So whenever you do one in a video I always take note of how you presented the gift or the type of gifts you look out for. Sometimes it may not seem like a big purchase or a random buy, but it really shows that you can gift anyone anything as long as it is from the heart.

That was cutie doing cats on the cup of coffee. Have you been able to get out and wonder through the cherry blossoms? I did notice your branch is starting to bloom. While strolling through Prague and Amsterdam , seeing the artwork at the museums and other buildings, made me think you would enjoy doing this sometime in your future. We even found a decent Japanese restaurant and on a cool evening had a warm bowl of ramen 🍜 😊. We have a Japanese restaurant a couple km away and they usually have a veggie tempura plate, based on the season, fresh vegetables. You have such good fond memories of growing up with your grandmother, I know she appreciates all of the little things you do for her through out the year.

I cannot imagine beginning my weekend reset Saturday morning without Nami and a cup of good coffee. I really enjoyed this video. Brought back so many memories of my years living in Japan. Cherry blossom time was always a favourite time for me. The last time I was in Japan was during the week after the big earthquake of 2011 because my daughter was living and teaching there. I went to see her. I will never forget that visit and the tremendous courage of all the Japanese people I witnessed. It was cherry blossom time in Shizuoka when I visited family. My daughter was living in Kyushu then. So many fond memories of that visit. Arigato, Nami San! 💕🌸
