Been there. I've done that quite a few times. But it can be stressful. So my thoughts and self advice I give myself is "leave yourself some room for error". If you cut too much you can't put it back. And remember your hair will grow back and you will get another chance to make it rt. Thanks for posting the video man.

I'm just scared to line my own shit up with the Andis t liners. I bought the slimline pros and out the box they were trash, them zero gapped and I guess the smaller blade helps me line up. They still don't cut that good tho. Nice vid!

🌟HAWG! I used the hand and mirror system for a couple years and always did a good job, that’s how I LEARNED to cut hair. but I guarantee if Bossio had one, that back taper would’ve came out cleaner. Don’t knock it till you try it 🤷♂️

Bro from one barber to another I think all barbers are obsessive compulsive n a good way if that makes sense salute for posting but nothing wrong w ur cut brotha I think the fact u noticed ur hairline it took away from detail u would normally that hairline consumed u got anxious i would have put the 1 1/2 open behind and above ur ears to clean the dark areas to make ur blend pop but that shiy was clean bro stay grinding I'm a fan for sure

i do self cuts too always do 8 on top but i first come the hair and go with the grain before going against it or it will leave spots like you did.

I’ve been cutting my own hair for 22 years. And believe me I’ve messed up way worse than that. I just did it last week for the first time in like 11 years. I gave myself a eight on top but Slickback I have wavy hair. And then I’ll bring the from a 7-6-5-4 into a 2, down to a taper. But I did the same thing you did . just start picking and poking a different spots and before you know it you push Your line back. So I wound up having to go to a number 2 Caesar! Smh ps You can see my picture to the left a few weeks after I haircut I gave myself. I had a lower that down to Assisi. That should happen sometimes in a month it all grows back and we start over
