My masters were loud too. Then I got the omnicord ceramic blade. Glides through hair like butter and is much more quiet. Solid fade my dude. Great job 👏🏼

5guard (close) - Shave all top 4guard (close) - Shave side 3 guard (close) - a bit lower than 4guard shave side 2 guard (close) - abit lower than 3guard shave side 1guard (open)- create guide line 1 inch 1guard (1/2 open) - only go halfway 1guard (close) - just touch the line it will create another line 1/2 guard (close) - clean up line remaining line no guard (open) create guide line 1 inch No guard (1/2 open) No guard close trimmer shaver

Bien hecho Ricardo! I've been cutting my hair since 2001 but never looks as neat as yours, must be the hair type (LOL). Didn't realized I'm still "attached" to a cord.. I'm definitely upgrading to cordless. These mirrors are very handy too, I will get them ASAP. Question: I've seen other videos and when they get close to the "crown" the instruction is to go straight up with the clippers instead of flicking out like you do. Does this make any difference! These are the best explained and easy to follow videos I've seen in years. Keep'em coming! Thanks! Best!!!

Love your videos man - they’ve been so helpful throughout the quarantine. My cuts have improved dramatically 💯🔥. Do you have any recommendations for hair fibers to add thickness to thinning areas?

Truthfully their all the same. What you really need to make sure to get is the spray to lock it in and make sure the fibers are the righr color. Quick search on ebay and youll do good 👍

The ones that come with led lights are better. Mad expensive but totally worth it. I had the one you have in this video, and it broke in the hinges after a year.

Holy loud. Must be the new home bathrooms. Echos like crazy. I’ve been thinking of getting this since it came out YEARS ago, but have just used a normal hand held mirror. Now I’m older, might be a good time to get it. The price was a bit steep, guessing well worth it.

Great vid again. If I don't have the 0 guard can I use the half guard instead to blend down from the 1 open guideline? Also what guard did you use to do the detail work on the back of the head. Thanks

Now that’s a 1 inch band!! Most barber tutorials say 1 inch when it’s more like half an inch. Great video though, keep up the good work and stay safe.

Do you have any tips for thinning/balding hairline? I can fade my hair thanks to you, but the back of my head has the faint bald ring. I am kinda scared to take that part lower(dark ring) because it seems like it would be tough to blend. It is darker on the ring and lighter on the inside and outside of the bald ring. Sheesh hope that makes sense. Thanks brother....imma have to check out that diy self cut system.

Just keep it long in those parts. Hair fibers would be the only help for spexial occasions but in general jist fade around it like youve been

How would you remove the ridge if it was a no.8 closed on top? Would you still start with a no.4 then gradually come down to the no.2? Or would you do something else?

Yes. The 4 guard will blend easily into it because the corners of the head make it easier. Then use 3 and 2 both closed.

Magic clips fall behind a bit today. The 50 cal mags i like better along with the seniors cordless. Id still rock the magic clips tho. They were great

I like that version of it. The version I had the clips had to be attached and it came with led lights. Those masters are kinda loud.

Their loud in the video but its not really that bad in person. The frequencies hit the mic kind of hard.

I use ballistol. It works for everything from firearms, leather, etc. that ballistol coating quiets the andis cordless masters.

Re-signed with Top Rank to avoid Errol Spence Jr. I felt the same way you did....until I watched ricardos quarantine cut. They are amazing and cordless makes it so much easier if you self cut. I have a set of oster fast feeds w/ceramic blade. They are quiet...almost too quiet bc you can’t hear the cut like the masters. I love that feedback from the masters. On my new masters I soaked both of my blades in ballistol for 30 minutes and I use ballistol every time I apply oil. They are fairly quiet now.

Using the foil shaver do you go all the way up to the zero gapped trimmer guideline or just below like 1/4 inch down? Also do you ever need to blend downwards with the foil shaver or should the andis clippers zero gapped erase the skin bald line? thanks for sharing with good instructions! I know some barbers that don’t like to lol.

Thanks Ricardo for the quick reply! Not sure if you can answer this question. Those trimmers you have are they the deep tooth blade or regular? My local store has the the silver 2.0 graphite deep tooth blade in stock but not the gold ones. Would you recommend ordering the gold ones? Not sure if they cut different or if one is better since it looks like they come with different blades.

Their not deep tooth. Id go for the graphites based on other peoples opinions. I havent used them yet tho. Either blade is fire regardless

Yes. Just have all appropriate guards and you will be good.

What happens when you got no guard on and closed and still can’t get your bald line completely out? Do you use your trimmer with just the corner of the blade?

It should come right out. You probably need to adjuat your clippers to cut lower.

In all those tutorial videos, I'm surprised they never put a thick rubber band around their head to help defining a clear and straight line to shave from. This is what I would do.

Alot of the clippers I've had the lever gets loose and the blade moves. I end up resorting to holding the lever in place. Ive had that happen even with oster 76s. What kind of clippers are those and does it do that to you?

Oster 76s are rotary with no lever. Im sure you meant fast feeds? Usually you can tighten that screw. These are cordless andis masters and they tighten differently from under the blade. Ive never had it loosen ever.

The corded heat up like a mofo. The cordless barely gets warm. Get the cordless if you can man its best.

Id go for fast feeds because the corded masters will burn your hand as a learner trust me. Plus youll save some money. Fast feeds are awesome too. Good luck man
