Interestingly, I read the song differently than what the description says this song is supposed to be about - and far be it from me to disagree with the creators, it's just, that's not what this song means to me. Relationships can be difficult, I know from experience, but some are worth fighting for even when it's hard; to me, this song is about deciding that someone is in fact worth the struggle, the cost, because they are what's most important to you. That's something I can relate to. No, I'm not in an abusive relationship, I'm in a relationship with someone struggling with mental illness and poverty who can hardly ever muster the time or energy to spare for me, but I treasure him for everything I know he is when life isn't beating him down, I will never love anyone like I love him, he is worth the struggle and that's why this song speaks to me. So the description…kinda feels like an insult? Again, I realize I'm basically arguing with the creators here, and I don't mean to, I'm just expressing how I feel personally…
