how to disarm karambit weld assailant?and the karambit has finger ring. its difficult to knock it off right?

Not as difficult as one might think. Right now I am a part of a conversation on my social media where over 70 people have placed pics of their fingers that have been either degloved (skin ripped off the bone) or have been dismembered completely. The retention ring is a great feature but also has equal perils.

I did disarm once. cut the space between my thumb and pointy finger. now I can't pull bike throttle can't hold a wrench. can't hold a bottle with my right hand. but I'm still alive. luck played it's part.
