Arlo the drama that unfolded throughout this kept me captivated. I wasn't sure how you were going to overcome bare blade error. But you blended it in as though you were Vidal Sassoon himself. 🙌

You're absolutely hilarious! I've just ordered my first pair of serious hair clippers. I start a new job early April and I need to get rid of this mane that I've acquired. My partner attempted to give me a trim with a beard trimmer last spring. It was a painful experience (literally). I've also checked out The One Minute Barber, thanks for pointing me in his direction.

LOL, thank you. Actually, that was filmed a little while ago now, so my hair has grown back ... or at least as much as it is ever going to grow back these days!

Sorry Arlo just couldn't stop laughing and I applaud your courage to do this on the Tube for the first time! Well done you! I haven't been to the barber for years BUT it's my good wife that wields the shears And I have far less hair on top than even you. Best video yet!

Brave man Arlo and very funny. Why not dragoon a family member? I bought a Philips Multigroom series 7000 (MG7735) last summer. Similar price. It had its one and only outing shortly after but it's now dusted down for a second outing. I'll check the One Minute Barber first though!

I thought I would watch this as I wanted to see how a complete amateur managed a diy haircut before having a go myself. I must say it gave me a good laugh, but the end result wasn’t bad at all really. The one minute barber gives a few extra tips to try to avoid some of the errors here. I will have to get up a bit of Dutch courage with a couple of cans of Guinness before jumping in at the deep end myself though. What could possibly go wrong ? .

Yeah, that's what I hoped ... that it would be interesting to see how a first timer got on. But I don thunk I remmend two cansh guineas.

That was great. I'm in the same boat myself, wondering whether I should shell out £60+ for one of these - I like the red chrome. I think you did brilliantly and the results look absolutely fine.

Thanks David. Unfortunately the ozone hole at the top wasn't caused by a zero. Still, at least there's less cutting to do. These days I just need to wax and polish that bit.

@@stephanedorion2273 He's never cut my hair, so I have no first hand experience, but he was a finalist in Scotland's Best Barber 2019, so you have to assume he knows what he is doing!!
