This is decent, but the character assassination of Annie Malone is terrible. This is why black history is always blinded.

This Hollywood version was interesting but just wished Madam CJ Walker's great great granddaughter would have just ensured it was 100% accurate but there are still lessons you can learn from this Hollywood version...True or facts?

I am disappointed in this series. They did not do the history justice. Same thing she did with Harriet.

I just love how Octavia Spencer is a part of movies like this that show us these amazing women who went against the norms of society and showed them how it's done! Loved this series and so grateful to those who brought it to pass so that we can see those that made history.

I was looking forward to the story of Madam C.J Walker only to be disappointed with lie after lie Writers, producer and actors please stop destroying the legacy of black American people.

She was never the first self-made Black female millionaire in the USA, though. That well-worn lie has been repeated for decades, but it's historically incorrect, like most of this movie. Mary Ellen Pleasant of San Francisco, CA was the first.

I would love to watch this. Being in Indianapolis, this was where her company headquarters was located. In fact, the original building is a theater now bearing her name.

This was such a powerful experience today for black women. It reenergized me and help me refocus on my own dreams! Best mini-series of 2020 hands down!!!!!
