I am on Xbox and followed the guide exactly and got the self portrait ending. This was all I needed to unlock the last achievement. All achievements now unlocked, thanks for the guide buddy.

Thanks, used this to get my last xbox achievement. Had to low the speed down to 0.75, as it truly was a speed run :D

The thing at 29:35 doesn't pop up. Thanks to this fucked up and waaayyy to dark Video i can only guess where it COULD pop up. I did everything exactly, picked up those pencils, went in the room and used the light switch. Next time you do these videos, please brightten them up for gods sake!

Got it, seems like after patches you have to: first take out the lamp, then use the switch, then open the other door (wife stands right in your face). After this, the fire burns and the paint thing spawns.

Had the same issue. It will spawn as soon as you open the door and get scared by the wife. The palette will be sitting in front of the fireplace

@@Buza09 Thank you so much, I was about to explode if I couldn't finish it. Thankfully, if it doesn't pop up the first time, you can exit to main menu then continue to retry for it. It spawns you in the same place.

The piano hallway/room door wouldn’t open for me. It was saying it was locked, I followed everything and now I don’t know what to do

For anyone who doesn't know where it is- If you let the piano slide all the way, before moving forwards go halfway ans turn left. There should definitely be a door there that is unlocked, it's the same room.

Did literally everything from this video, but got wife ending. Repeated from the beginnig - still the same. Video is not working anymore. Also, the piano thing that mentioned early - door behind you will locked.

Just got the self portrait. I followed everything apart from the wife's things; hairbrush, perfume bottle, compact and necklace. Visited her shrine at the end though. I'm on the xbox and there's a couple of scenes that differ from this run through. 1st has no bearing as you end up in the same place, the 2nd is his paint board under the mantle piece. In the room with the fireplace turn the lamp off and hit the light switch. Then open the door on your right and the paints will appear after the small cut scene on the hearth.Good luck. Luckily the walkthroughs' are quite quick.

Thanks for the confirmation guys! As you can see I got the self portrait ending on this vid. If it doesn't work one day... then it might be outdated or like in this case you missed something :)

Yo video helped me get the family ending but I start back at chapter 5 to try to get the gentleman ending and never can I always get the endless loop ending

You have to start a new game chapter select will not work, those of you who keep getting wife just go to new game, Im on Xbox and got this despite the comments great guide thanks

I tried twice today to get the self-portrait ending and got the Loop ending both times. Watching this video, the only things you did that I didn't were collecting all the spoken words, obtaining the crank to open the door, and cranking up the sculpture. of those actions, which ones are necessary for this ending?

29:58 I ended up moving the elevator up instead of down and got a completely different area than this loll hopefully I still get the self-portrait ending
