Hi, You are really doing a great job with your educative videos. Please, I have a question. I would appreciate it if you could help me answer it. I am currently on a student visa in the UK, studying MBA in Human Resource Management, my programmed ended 1st April 2024, I was notified by the school that I have a module to retake 17th May 2024 with the option not to retake and exit the program with a Post Graduate Diploma but the date of module retake is yet to be communicated and my visa is due to expire August 2024. I currently have an employer that offered to sponsor me, I mean Certificate of Sponsorship (COS). My question is, if I decide to withdraw from the program by not retaking the module and exit with a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources, will I be eligible for the switch to the skilled worker visa(COS) being offered by my employer when they apply with the home office. Please kindly help me as I need to make a decision as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey, thank you for showing your love and support :) In my opinion, switching from a Tier-4 student visa to a Tier-2 skilled worker visa should not be an issue given that you exit your course with a diploma degree. However, I recommend seeking assistance from your university placement team, as they are best equipped to provide guidance. I hope this information is helpful! 😊

1) I am on a Skilled Worker visa in the UK. If my brother is the director of a company and someone else who is British is the authorized officer, can I apply for a self-sponsorship visa through that company? 2) Are there any tax, HMRC, or other responsibilities for the authorized officer? 3) Will the new salary threshold apply to me if I am already in the UK on the old Skilled Worker route?

What is the IELTS required for a self-sponsorship visa? IELTS UKVI or IELTS general or academic?

As per my knowledge, IELTS requirements are only for doing masters/undergrad from top universities and is not required for global talent visa or skilled worker visa until and unless you have a valid job with visa sponsorship or valid endorsement from tech nation. Hope this helps :)

@@squotient I guess you didn't know, which is perfectly fine since English is your second language. If English isn't known, it could pose an issue for the visa you mentioned. That's why the United Kingdom requires proof of English language proficiency at the B1 level. I'm just not sure which specific type of IELTS they're referring to

My LTD company name and trade name is different. Hygiene rating in scores on the doors is on trade name. In this case what document to submit to prove this is my hygiene rating or where to mention in the application regarding this please? Thanks in advance.
